Bradley Beal Trade Rocks NBA Championship Odds; Next Team for Young, Zion, Towns, Levine

The first major domino of the NBA offseason fell last night as Bradley Beal was traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Of course, that move had an impact on next year’s championship odds, as well as “next team” odds for all of the other players reportedly on the trading block.

SportsBetting has updated its trade odds for Damian Lillard, DeAndre Ayton, Karl-Anthony Towns, Trae Young, Zach LaVine and Zion Williamson, where the Suns have been removed from some of the players’ candidates.

The Suns’ title odds for next year moved from +900 to +700 immediately after the Beal news broke. This morning, Phoenix has moved even further up the board and now has +650 odds.

Kansas City-White Sox OVER 9 (Greinke-Kopech)

The official outlaw line is 9.5.  Our outlaw line is what the line would be without public perception or square line moves. The White Sox average total this season is 8.4, while it is 8.8 for Kansas City. In Zach Greinke’s starts, it is 8.8 and in Michael Kopech’s it’s 9. This total opened at our outlaw line and some 9.5s are still hanging, yet one can now shop around for over 9 with little or no extra juice.

We have an angle that says when a total is high compared to both teams and both pitchers average total, use that knowledge against them and it goes over 2365-1776-156. This includes 58.7 percent this season at 80-57-5, and 11.6 ROI. The squares dropping the total makes it stronger. The Sox have a .463 slugging percentage last seven games and .313 batting average last five. Greinke has a 7.71 road ERA and a .341 OBP against. Kopech has allowed six earned runs in his last two starts totaling just 10 2/3 IP.

Lakers Heavy Favorites Over Warriors to Win 2020 NBA Championship Says Sportsbook

Super sportsbook Bet Now has a Los Angeles Lakers as the favorites to win the NBA Championship in 2020. NBA betting expert Joe Duffy of OffshoreInsiders.com says the odds clearly anticipate more moves by the Lakers beyond the recent acquisition of Anthony Davis, “For the Lakers to be the team to beat, they will have to parlay the Davis trade into signing someone like Jimmy Butler.” The Lakers are less than 3-1 as vetted sportsbook Bet Now. Golden State is second at 11-2, followed closely by Milwaukee and defending champion Toronto. All odds based on $100 per bet. Hence +1000 would be the same as 10-1.

Kyrie Irving Next Year: Celtics Unlikely Says Bookie

With the elimination of the Celtics, many are speculating about where Kyrie Irving will be playing next season.

The oddsmakers at SportsBettinghave a different opinion than some of the other books as they have made the New York Knicks a 2/1 favorite to land Irving.

Kyrie Irving team for 2019-20 season

New York Knicks 2/1

Brooklyn Nets 3/1

Boston Celtics 13/4

Los Angeles Lakers 5/1

Los Angeles Clippers 8/1

Dallas Mavericks 10/1

Toronto Raptors 12/1

Additionally, SportsBetting has posted a prop that doesn’t suggest Al Horford will be back with Boston next year.

Will Al Horford be a Celtic in Game 1 of 2019-20 season

Yes +100

No -140

Following the injury to Kevin Durant, oddsmakers are quickly adjusting their futures and game odds for the Rockets-Warriors series.

While still the favorite, Golden State now has its worst odds of the season to capture a third consecutive another title at +100.

Additionally, the Warriors’ odds to beat Houston for the series were -250 prior to Game 5, but have actually dropped to -245 despite last night’s victory (Rockets +205).

The line for Game 6 opened at Rockets -5.5 but was quickly bet up to -7.5. The action suggests bettors are not banking on Durant being on the floor for Game 6.
