Here is the official sports info gameday.
The NFL injury report, perfect for fantasy football players as well (fantasy football
betting odds) will be up shortly, but here are key news and notes for football

Tampa is 2-0
at home this year straight up and 8-2 since last year. Yet, Carolina

Rams-Redskins

is outscoring teams 48-14 in the first, but they are outscored 93-69 in the
other three.

Dolphins-Texans

851 yards of total offense in their last two games, their best since 1995. Houston
is 3-0 straight up all-time in the series. Miami

Houston will

Ravens-Colts

Baltimore has
allowed the fewest first quarter points, just three. The Colts have scored just
44 points this year in the first three quarters, but 38 in the final frame. The
Colts are last in rushing yards per game on offense and last on defense in
rushing yards per game allowed. They face a Ravens team that has gone 23
straight games without allowing a 100-yard rusher.

Lions-Vikings

Raiders-Saints

Cincinnati will
likely not start Carson Palmer at QB, but the injury report is up coming. Brett
Favre, the New York QB (you may have heard) is 6-1 straight up his last seven
following a bye. The Jets average field position is tops in the NFL.

Miami-Houston OVER 44.5

With 390 total yards against San Diego in Week 5, the Dolphins have 851 yards combined in their last two contests. Again, Houston has a rare case where their underrated offense is pretty healthy.

There is zero question with a healthy Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams out of the gutter, and Chad Pennington improving on one of the worst quarterbacked teams in decades, the Fins have easily the most improved offense from last year.

Houston gets 5.4 yards per play against teams normally allowing, but they are horrific on defense allowing 4.5 yards per rush to teams normally getting 3.7 and 7.1 yards per pass to 6.3. This amounts to 5.8 yards per play to 5.1. Houston has given up 30 points in every game this season, but has scored 27 in two straight.

Sunday has a full NFL slate and the NLCS goes to Los Angeles as the Dodgers try to avoid falling down 3-0 to the Phillies. This on the heels of the Tampa Bay Rays very late night win over Boston. A winning streak will be on the line for the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday when they battle the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.

The Phillies will pin their hopes on the pitching of lefthander Jamie Moyer in this game. Moyer has a 16-8 record and a 3.73 ERA this season.

It’ll be Hiroki Kuroda toeing the rubber for the Dodgers in this contest. Righthander Kuroda is 10-10 with a 3.61 ERA so far this season.
