The St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Nationals will both be gunning for a victory on Thursday when they meet at Nationals Park.
The Cardinals will trot Mitchell Boggs out to the mound in this one. Righthander Boggs has a 1-0 record and a 0.00 ERA this season.
The Nationals will counter Boggs with Daniel Cabrera. Righthander Cabrera has a 4.42 ERA to go along with a 0-2 record this season.

The struggling Nationals banged out 11 hits and avoided a three-game sweep by defeating the Phillies 4-1 on Wednesday, as +165 underdogs. That game’s five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (10.5).
Anderson Hernandez went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs to lead the way. Scott Olsen picked up his first win in four outings, and Julian Tavarez notched his first save.
