Percy Harvin Injury Status and the Florida-Alabama Morning Line in Vegas

Florida Gators coach Urban Meyer is remaining tight-lipped about the status of playmaker Percy Harvin. Every source we have—and good ones, tell us he’s uncertain, questionable, etc.

Of course Alabama-Florida is the 2008 College Football Game of the Year from the top sports handicapper ever GodsTips. More details at the home page of OffshoreInsiders.com

The Gators are a 10-point favorite on the morning line betting.

Saturday Betting

It is an understatement to say this is a historic weekend for bettors from Ludlow, CA to Copenhagen, Denmark and back to Manhattan.  The California Vulcans will put a hurting on Minnesota-Duluth, a seven point chalk, in the D2 playoffs. There is Alabama-Florida, Army-Navy, MissouriOklahoma and De la Hoya v Pacquiao.

Here’s a look at it all in your Daily Sports Roundup.

The Gridiron Spotlight

Don’t just count you winners from Turner Gill and Buffalo‘s not-so-upset win over Ball State, at least not those who bet with Grandmaster sports handicapper Joe Duffy and GodsTips, the Center of the Handicapping Universe.  There is so much more money to be made with the college football odds.  Though the dangerous minds who bet on their own were caught off guard.

The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are unbeaten this season? That doesn’t seem to mean a whole lot to oddsmakers and bettors this weekend, as the No. 2 Florida Gators are pegged as the 10-point favorites to win the SEC championship at the Georgia Dome on Saturday afternoon (with the total at 52). Both teams have been lucrative wagers this year; Alabama is 9-3 ATS, while Florida is at 9-2.

Two ranked teams are involved in the Big 12 championship at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday as well, but the No. 19 Missouri Tigers don’t have a shot at the national title. No. 4 Oklahoma does, though, and the 17-point favorites will be looking to punch their ticket to the BCS Championship Game with a resounding victory. The Sooners are 9-2 ATS so far this season, while the Tigers are just 5-6.

There are two other title games on Saturday, with East Carolina vs. Tulsa in the Conference USA championship, and No. 18 Boston College vs. Virginia Tech in the ACC championship. Tulsa is sitting as a 12-point favorite, while the Eagles/Hokies matchup is a pick’em as the teams battle to secure a BCS berth.

Elsewhere, No. 5 USC can clinch the Pac-10 title with a win over UCLA on Saturday; the Trojans are huge 32.5-point favorites in that one. As well, it’s Navy (-10.5) vs. Army (get back to the future of handicapping as Stevie Vincent has the Army-Navy Vegas spread winner), Pittsburgh vs. Connecticut (-2.5), South Florida vs. West Virginia (-7), Washington vs. California (-35.5), Arizona State vs. Arizona (-10.5), Arkansas State vs. Troy (-11.5), and Western Kentucky vs. Florida International (-8). Also, Cincinnati will travel out to Hawaii to play the Warriors as 7-point faves.

Check out the home page of OffshoreInsiders.com for details on who will cover and the articles section for free information that the sportsbooks would rather you not see. We see football games as playing for change and dollars.
