Other betting odds include Texas favored by 10.5 over Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl with the total of 54.  Stevie Vincent is the guru of mastering over/under picks and says the BCS games have totals that are among the easiest he’s seen because public perception distorted them more excessively this year. Vincent is Senior Handicapper on OffshoreInsiders.com

Undefeated Utah gets no respect from the Oddsmakers as Alabama is the 10.5 favorite with a total of 46.5 in the Sugar Bowl.

The Orange bowl has Cincinnati a two-point chalk over Virginia Tech with a total of 41. The winner of the Rose Bowl may stake a claim at the writer’s national championship. USC is a prohibitive 10-point bet over Penn State with the over/under at 46.5.

In perhaps the most intriguing of the non-BCS bowls there is no line yet on Mississippi and Texas Tech. Check the college football odds as the minor bowls will likely have betting pointspreads by Monday morning.

Florida-Oklahoma: Sooners Vegas Favorite, Gators Offshore Chalks

The Las Vegas betting odds and the offshore betting line do not agree on Florida-Oklahoma.

Oklahoma opens as a 1.5 point favorite over Florida in the BCS Championship game in Las Vegas but the Gators are a three-point favorite at the offshore sportsbooks. According to Joe Duffy, CEO of the top sports handicapper site in the world OffshoreInsiders.com, “The Gators would have opened up as the favorite in Las Vegas, but Oklahoma‘s dismantling of Missouri bumped them up to the chalk.”

The total is 71.
