As well, the Colts will be looking to extend the Lions’ woes when the teams meet at Lucas Oil Stadium; Indy is favored by 17 points.

Other Notable Events

Kobe Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers are back in action on Sunday night, as they’ll get a visit from the Minnesota Timberwolves. There are just three other games on the NBA’s schedule for Sunday, including a 12:30pm ET matinee featuring New Orleans at Toronto. As well, the Heat will be in Memphis to take on the Grizzlies, while Oklahoma City will continue their Texas swing in San Antonio.

The Rest of the Schedule

There are just three NHL games on the schedule for Sunday, all of them in the evening. The Blue Jackets and Blackhawks get things going at 7:00pm ET in Chicago, while the Wild and Ducks will drop the puck an hour later in Anaheim. The Panthers and Canucks will then finish the week in Vancouver at 10:00pm ET.

Several ranked teams are in action in college basketball on Sunday. The U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix will host of a pair of those teams, as No. 4 Gonzaga will take on Arizona, and No. 20 Arizona Sate will go up against IUPUI. As well, No. 11 Wake Forest will play Wright State, No. 15 Villanova will take on La Salle.

A Peek at the Future

This week’s Monday Night Football matchup sees the Cleveland Browns playing on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are listed as 14-point home favorites, with the total at 39 points . . . the NBA has five games on Christmas this year, starting with New Orleans/Orlando at noon ET. As well, it’ll be San Antonio/Phoenix, Boston/Lakers, Washington/Cleveland, Dallas/Portland.
