Four teams that missed the postseason in 2018 – Buffalo, Detroit, Green Bay and San Francisco — are undefeated through the first three weeks of the 2019 season. It marks the fourth time that at least four teams have started the season undefeated through their first three games after missing the postseason the previous year since 1990 when the current playoff format was instituted, joining 2013, 2003 and 2002. Here’s a quick look at every Week 4 game alongside the latest NFL Odds. The Jets and 49ers are on the bye.

The Patriots have yet to be tested this season. They were 30-14 home winners over the Jets on Sunday. Tom Brady completed 28-of-42 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns. Brady wasn’t sacked in the victory. He spread the wealth to seven different receivers including Josh Gordon, who led the way with 83 yards on six catches. The first of Brady’s two touchdowns came on a 25-yard play-action pass to Phillip Dorsett, who scampered into the end zone untouched. Later Brady connected with Julian Edelman, finding him all alone for a touchdown on third-and-goal.
Will Brady have Julian Edelman this week? He had a chest injury Sunday, although X-rays were negative. Should Edelman miss time, undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers would handle slot duties—he lined up inside on 86.2 percent of his snaps against the Jets—with Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett continuing to work outside.

As we begin to look ahead to NFL Week 4, it is already becoming clear that there is a bit of a gap between the good teams and the bad. Sure, that has always been the case, but the NFL has also become known for its parity in recent years. That does not seem to be the case in the early going, though, as we already have some clear favorites separating themselves from the rest of the pack.
There is still a lot of football to come, though, so we should perhaps not get too carried away. We are going to be looking at several different odds for NFL Week 4, but let’s focus on SU picks for this one.

Totals bettors have been raking in the sports betting dimes this season. Here is the over-under report.

The last couple of seasons have been a bit of a disaster for the Green Bay Packers, prompting the front office to make a change at the head coach position. Early results suggest that the Packers are heading in the right direction, but while they are 4-0 on the season, they have had their struggles on the offensive side of the football.
The Eagles have had similar issues, but they are in a tougher spot, having now lost back to back games to fall to 1-2. In 4 of the last 5 meetings between these two in Green Bay, it has been the UNDER that has hit.
