NSAWins

Sonny LaFouchi of NSA Wins is a well
marketed website using some of the hard-sell techniques employed by John
Morrison
, Sports Advisors
,
Jonathan Stone and Sporting News Radio, the Duke Wins.

NSAWins sales pitch is the
complete opposite of the laid back approach of Don Best
handicappers
for example. Sonny also operates VegasSI.com, which is an acronym
for Vegas Sports Insider.

His sports
service
has never finished in the Top 100 as monitored by MasterLockLine.com

Sports Betting Champ, John Morrison

John
Morrison, Sports Betting Champ
is a progressive betting system in which he
claims to have hit 97 percent winners. While his claims may be a bit exaggerated,
the computer plays at MasterLockLine.com
has used his system.

His aggressive sales pitch is similar to that of National
Sports Advisors (NSAWins.com), not to be confused with the Sports
Advisors
, Jeff Allen, Stu Feiner,
Johnny DeMarco, Blazer Sports, Jack Price, Mike Wynn,
and others.

According to Cy McCormick, head of the online betting
syndicate MasterLockLine.com, unlike
the others, John
Morrison, Sports Betting Champ
has turned a profit long-term.

Sports Advisors

SportsAdvisors actually traces
their roots back to the original free telephone scoreboards, then known as SportsLine. However, the founder, known as “Big Red” did
not have the foresight to copyright the name. When SportsLine.com did as such,
they sent a cease-and-desist order to sports betting pioneer “Big Red” to stop
using the SportsLine brand. The score lines went to
the more generic “free scoreboard” moniker.

The early days featured such up-and-comers Mark Lawrence,
Mel Stewart, former NFL head coach and NFL Hall-of-Fame inductee Hank Stram, and legendary broadcaster Ray Scott. It has also
been a major stepping stone for such accomplished sports handicappers as Joe Duffy’s
Amazing Cadillac Club (JD of the ACC), theRealAnimal,
Jonathan Mardukas, Chris Jordan and his doppelganger
Oscar Dooley, the Lock Line and SuperLockLine, which begat MasterLockLine.com

Other handicappers who purchased advertising time, though
are not alumni, include included Brandon Lane
(Brandon Link), Sean Michaels the
Sports Broker, and Mike Anthony (the Million Dollar Man), and Jeff Allen.

Much like Vegas Insider,
the scorephone during its SportsLine days consisted
only of the most reputable handicappers. The Tailgate
Party
for years was a must-call for every serious gambler as Joe Duffy,
Stevie Vincent and Chris Jordan gave gamblers the ATS edge with timely free sports betting information.

When “Big Red” sold the enterprise to television tout Stu Feiner the scorephones slowly
but surely took a turn into the hard-sell and began mimicking the Johnny DeMarco and Jack Price audiotext sports phone.

Literally every top handicapper left for the
Freescoreboard toll-free scorephone. Feiner
eventually sold to Steve Budin, son of one of the
early offshore sportsbook owners. Budin free spending
has help rebuild the Sports Advisors group around a patchwork assembly of
handicappers.

Hoping to learn from frequent missteps, Feiner has re-entered the scorephone arena led by
journeyman tout Chuck Franklin and several upstarts.

Vegas Insider

With the help of CBS Sportsline,
Vegas Insider was certainly the first major player as far as sports betting information is
concerned. They also had, shall we say, “cozy” relationship with Sportsbook.com
and helped vault that entity as one of the first multinational sportsbooks.

Much like OffshoreInsiders.com
has been since Day 1 and remains unchanged, for the first several years of its existence,
VegasInsider.com hired handicappers based purely on credibility, led by the
universally respected Russ Culver. All the original handicappers such as the
late Mike Lee and Ken White, were
considered credible by almost all industry insiders.

The problem was the commission rate that VegasInsider paid was pittance and all the top handicappers
went elsewhere.

Vegas Insider then did an about face and developed
partnerships with the likes of Stu Feiner and Wayne Root, touts better known for their
marketing prowess than sports
handicapping
,

They even briefly tried a relationship with radio
handicapping pioneer Dave “the MeatmanScandaliato. Very few sports handicappers have had
long-term relationships with Vegas Insider, essentially because the top
tipsters are paid fish heads and rice and eventually seek employment elsewhere.

During our Freescoreboard.com and OffshoreInsiders.com,
we’ve been contacted by several Vegas Insider alumni looking to make the move
upwards. Mark Franco was the only Vegas Insider expatriate who displayed
handicapping skills good enough to be brought on board, but his abilities fell
short of Joe Duffy, Mike Godsey, Leo Shafto, AnimalSportsPicks,
Stevie Vincent, the SuperLockLine (now MasterLockLine.com)
and he was only a notch better than Oscar Charles Dooley, Jack Stroud, and the
Maniac.
