Lakers Heavy Favorites Over Warriors to Win 2020 NBA Championship Says Sportsbook

Super sportsbook Bet Now has a Los Angeles Lakers as the favorites to win the NBA Championship in 2020. NBA betting expert Joe Duffy of OffshoreInsiders.com says the odds clearly anticipate more moves by the Lakers beyond the recent acquisition of Anthony Davis, “For the Lakers to be the team to beat, they will have to parlay the Davis trade into signing someone like Jimmy Butler.” The Lakers are less than 3-1 as vetted sportsbook Bet Now. Golden State is second at 11-2, followed closely by Milwaukee and defending champion Toronto. All odds based on $100 per bet. Hence +1000 would be the same as 10-1.

Neither Warriors nor Raptors Favorites to Win 2020 NBA Title; Who Is Inside

For the first time in four years, the Golden State Warriors are not the early NBA Finals favorites.

SportsBetting has posted odds to capture the 2019-20 championship, and neither of this year’s Finals representatives sit atop the list.

The odds will certainly change as the free agency picture becomes more clear, but for now oddsmakers positioned the Milwaukee Bucks as favorites for the 2019-20 season.

The last time the Warriors weren’t favorites was going into the 2014-15 season when the Cleveland Cavaliers were just ahead of them on the odds board. Golden State won the title that season and has been the preseason favorites every year since.

Last year at this time, the Clippers had 75/1 odds, the Nets had 250/1 odds and the Knicks had 100/1 odds.
