BetDSI Posted Odds On Patrick Mahomes TD Passes; Bet on If He Breaks Single Season Mark

The 65 touchdown passes throw in Week 2 (tied NFL record) as well as Patrick Mahomes’s torrid start (on pace for 80 touchdowns) prompted BetDSI to put up props on the pass-happy league the NFL has become.

Total touchdown passes in Week 3 of 2018 reg. season

Under 60.5 (-140)

Total touchdown passes by Patrick Mahomes during 2018 reg. season

Will Patrick Mahomes break single-season TD passes record of 55?

Yes +340

No -535

There are four totals in the 50s for Week 3 at BetDSI. Since 2003, only 8 percent of games have featured a total of 50 or higher. Through two weeks this season, the average is in line with that (9 percent), however, for Week 3, 25 percent of games have a total of 50 or higher.

Saints at Falcons (53)

49ers at Chiefs (56.5)

Patriots at Lions (52.5)

Steelers at Bucs (54)

Since 2003, there have only been 22 games with a total of 56.5 or higher. According to BetDSI totals of 57.5 or higher are a perfect 9-0 towards the over.

Top Offshore Sportsbook Posts Fantasy Football Lines on Josh Gordon as New England Patriot

While a focused and healthy Josh Gordon improves a pedestrian Patriots receiving corps, the embattled wideout has no impact on New England’s immediate and futures odds.

BetDSI left Patriots’ odds unchanged following the news that Gordon was dealt by the Browns on Monday night. New England still has +600 odds to win Super Bowl LIII, +250 odds to win the AFC and -900 odds to win the AFC East.

The Patriots opened as 6.5-point road favorites versus Detroit at BetDSI in Week 3, and that spread hasn’t moved.

“Outside of the quarterbacks, there are just a couple of players that could impact a game line,” BetDSI head risk manager, Brent Corobotiuc, said. “Those players are running backs, and neither is worth more than a point, sometimes less. There aren’t any receivers whose absence can move the odds.”

Gordon has averaged 17.3 yards per reception during his career. None of the other wide receivers on the New England roster have averaged more than 14 yards per catch in their careers. He certainly has big-play ability, and here are some “Flash” Gordon props for Week 3 and the season available at BetDSI

Week 3 NFL Opening Lines: Browns 3.5-Point Favorite; Undefeated Buccaneers Home Underdogs

The Cleveland Browns are favorites on Thursday Night Football.  Yes, breaking news, the Cleveland Browns are only favorite over the New York Jets but also by more than the normal three-point home field advantage, laying -3.5. The Minnesota Vikings are favorites by -16.5 over the pathetic Buffalo Bills. This is the opening line at Betonline which is the home of the opening line.  However, should this line not go down by kickoff, it will be the largest pointspread since the final day of 2017, when the New England Patriots were laying -16.5 to….wait for it…the New York Jets.

The surprising Tampa Bay Buccaneers are home underdogs Monday night to the disappointing Pittsburgh Steelers. Home teams going for their third straight win as an underdog are 29-19 all-time.
