Tigers Pull Biggest Upset in Decades, World Series Odds Updated

According to data provided by SportsBetting the Detroit Tigers pulled off the biggest baseball upset in the last two decades Wednesday night.

The Houston Astros, who are the current World Series favorites, lost to the Tigers in what was the largest upset dating back to 1999.

Detroit was as high as a +440 underdog at SportsBetting on Wednesday, while the Astros were a -525 favorite, meaning a bettor would have to wager 525 dollars just to win 100.

Less than two weeks ago, the Astros lost to Baltimore as -480 favorites on the road, which, at that time, was the biggest upset since 2007.

The Tigers pulled off the historic win with just two hits, both home runs, versus Justin Verlander in a 2-1 victory.

Florida-Miami, Arizona-Hawaii Game Previews

Saturday best bets! First NFL at 1 ET! Yes full-season packages with slight reductions to account for those who already paid for shorter packages including getting our NFL Preseason GOY winner. Four NFL, first college football on Miami-Florida. Three MLB as we build on recent 27-11 MLB explosion not to mention 31-plus years of public winning.

Let’s preview Florida and Miami Florida. UF is laying anywhere from -7.5 to -7 with the juice varying from shop to shop. Just 55 percent of the bets and 66 percent of the money are on the Gators. Those percentages, especially in the tickets written are low for a favorite. Likewise 67 percent of wagers in Vegas and offshore casinos and 81 percent of money are on the UNDER.

The game opened UF -8.5 and 49. MyBookie is among the vetted sportsbooks where bettors who want to get paid will bet.

Arizona is at Hawaii. The Wildcats are laying -11 with a total of 74 at MyBookie. It opened -11 and 71. The public often likes betting Hawaii as an underdog on the island. This is no exception with 61 percent of tickets and 80 percent of cash on Rainbows. The total has seen 75 percent of wagers and a stunning 93 percent of money on the over.
