Titans vs. Panthers Sportsbook Intel

This week’s NFL schedule features a matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Carolina Panthers.  The NFL predictions experts at Sportsbook have posted the odds on this game at Carolina -3 +100.

The Titans are 1-1 straight up and the Panthers 0-2 in practice play. Carolina has yet to score an offensive touchdown. New starting QB Matt Moore has a horrid QB rating of 34.9.

Four Carolina QBs have been sacked a total of 11 times already. Backup QB Jimmy Clausen has a toe injury, but will still play most of the second half.  WR Steve Smith is out, RB Jonathan Stewart is questionable.

The Titans have a short week off of MNF. Vince Young and the first team offense will play the first half. The Sports Network wire service reports Wideout Justin Gage (thumb) and defensive ends Jacob Ford (hamstring) and William Hayes (knee) are among the question marks for Tennessee heading into Saturday.

Top expert pick on this game: Impressive! The Great One Stevie Vincent is 14-4 with all NFL pre season picks including San Diego over and Atlanta last night. Yes 14-of-18 have cashed in. Level 5 plays are 8-1, which makes it 15-3 with pro football Level 5s going back to a remarkable season—again—last year.

Most gamblers demand tons of NFLX tonight. But most gamblers don’t win. We are only for those who demand winners. Oh get another NFLX over/under but the big story is the National League UNDERDOG of the YEAR among four winners. Click now to purchase Vincent’s total and the huge MLB odds winner.

The most beneficial line on the favorites is at BetUs online sportsbook where the Panthers are laying 2.5.

For those who prefer the underdog Bodog Sportsbook where it’s +3.

Professional gamblers, who use power ratings, have the NFL power line at the Panthers -1.5, so there is value on the Titans.

Bengals vs. Bills NFLX Spread

Because it’s the biggest play today from the nation’s top NFL bettor, ScoresOddsPicks.com has released a Las Vegas odds bulletin on the Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals contest.

The service pick is from GodsTips, with details below. The Bengals are 2-1 straight up, while Buffalo is 1-1 in NFLX play. “Intangibles” players may put stock in the fact that Bengals WR Terrell Owens is returning to play the latest team that rejected him at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The Sports Network wire service reports that Bengals injuries include, “cornerback Morgan Trent (ankle), and tackle Andrew Whitworth (thumb) are question marks, while safety Gibril Wilson (knee) will not play.”

Many bettors like betting on teams with quarterback competition and the Bills, well fit the bill. Trent Edwards leads Ryan Fitzpatrick. Edwards gets the start tonight.

The best value on betting on the Bengals is 5 Dimes, where they are -2.5 -120. NFL odds are most beneficial for wagering on the Bills is BetUs at +3. To bet the over, offshore sportsbook line shopping says the best value is at 35, though most shops have it at 35.5

NFL power rankings and ratings has the line at Cincinnati -3, so there is no edge based on power numbers.

Lions-Browns Betting Picks

OffshoreInsiders.com has issued a point spread alert for the Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns contest.

The best place to bet the Browns is SBG Global where they are getting 2.5 points. The best place to bet the Lions 5 Dimes at -1 and -125.

Each team is 1-1 straight up in the practice season, though the Lions are playing their first game at Ford Field.

Second year QB Matt Stafford is off a big game for the Lions, completing 13-of-18 passes for 130 yards and a TD.

The Sports Network wire service reports, “On the injury front for Detroit, defensive end Jared DeVries (knee) and kicker Jason Hanson (knee) are among the notables who are expected to be absent, though safety Louis Delmas (groin) could see some time after missing the first two games of the preseason.”

Browns new starting QB Jake Delhomme has completed 78.3 percent of his passes in NFLX play so far. Detroit is 21-19-1 all-time straight up in the exhibition play.

To bet the over, the top choice is also 5 Dimes at 38.

NFL power ratings have Detroit at -2.5 making them a good play laying some juice and betting them at the aforesaid line.

NY Yankees Cash Ticket Today Says Pro Gambler

Like an atomic clock, Matt Rivers is restoring honor to the handicapping profession. He has comp winner for Saturday is on the Yankees laying 134 at the Chicago White Sox.

John Danks is a quality lefty and Arod is not in the New York lineup but I’ll take my chances even on the dreaded road chalk today at US Cellular.

CC Sabathia is one of the best pitchers on this planet and to get Joe Girardi’s club after the awful effort last night is worth laying a little bit here. Sabathia continues to win game after game and Jeter, Tex, Cano and the Pinstripers should be just fine even if they have not looked very good over the past week. Things were rough up North in Toronto and game one in Chicago yesterday was a failure. But the Yankees are still one of the best teams in the league and Sabathia is an absolute beast so to think this recent semi skid will continue is unlikely.

Ozzie’s boys are appearing to come back around after a rough month plus where they went from four games up to about five games back of the Twins. They do boast talent with Konerko, Quentin, Ramirez and a few others but they are not the Yankees and after getting blitzed yesterday should be focused and ready to get some revenge.

The pick: NY Yankees -134.

For more information: It’s not Yom Kippur today but it certainly feels like it. I dropped the ball big-time on Friday in a rare poor poor day. The Dolphins showed less than nothing and therefore the Falcons shoved it up my butt in a major release. I have nobody at all to blame but myself as there are no excuses whatsoever.

I am the best handicapper on the planet and just have to prove that today. Two plays including a 300,000* first half winner between the Cardinals and Bears along with a 200,000* winner between the Cubs and Reds. I get right back on that horse today, that you can bet on. Click now to purchase

NFL Fantasy Football Pro Bets, QB and RB Odds

Now that we NFL betting fans have read up on training camps and caught a few exhibition games, it’s time to make a few educated guesses about player yardage. Who will lead the NFL in passing, rushing and receiving yards? Odds are courtesy of BetUs.com.

Shea Matthews picks are in bold.

MOST PASSING YARDS

Drew Brees +375

Peyton Manning +450

Matt Schaub +500

Aaron Rodgers +450

Tom Brady +650

Tony Romo +900

Philip Rivers +1000

Jay Cutler +1800

Brett Favre +2000

Kevin Kolb +2000

Safe pick: Drew Brees. The Saints air it out every year and he always hangs near the league leaders in passing yards.

Boom: Jay Cutler. If Mike Martz made Jon Kitna into a 4,000-yard guy in Detroit, imagine what he’ll do with Cutler’s talents in Chicago. The Bears may not win us money at the sportsbook but they’ll throw like mad.

Bust: Philip Rivers. Losing your top receiver and left tackle means you’ll throw for fewer yards, plain and simple.

Sleeper: Kevin Kolb. Eagles coach Andy Reid has the most lopsided pass-to-run ratio in NFL history.

MOST RUSHING YARDS

Chris Johnson +300

Adrian Peterson +500

Frank Gore +600

Ray Rice +800

Michael Turner +800

Maurice Jones-Drew +1000

Steven Jackson +1400

Shonn Green +1400

DeAngelo Williams +2000

Rashard Mendenhall +2000

Safe pick: Adrian Peterson. A 1,500-yard season qualifies as an “off” year for him. He’s a machine.

Boom: Chris Johnson. The little guy is an injury risk but there isn’t a more explosive back in football. He’s a force when it comes to yardage.

Bust: Steven Jackson. He’s talented as can be but his big body takes far too many hits. He’s no lock to play 16 games.

Sleeper: Rashard Mendenhall. Greene could be a sleeper too but Mendenhall will get more touches since Ben Roethlisberger is suspended and Greene will give way to LaDainian Tomlinson on third down.

MOST RECEIVING YARDS

Andre Johnson +400

Miles Austin +900

Larry Fitzgerald +900

Randy Moss +900

Reggie Wayne +900

Roddy White +1000

Calvin Johnson +1000

Greg Jennings +1200

Marques Colston +1500

Brandon Marshall +2000

Safe pick: Reggie Wayne. He never gets hurt and plays in a passing offense that dominates like clockwork every year.

Boom: Andre Johnson. He’s a potent combination of speed and sure-handedness. He gets the ball a ton every game and has posted back-to-back 1,500-yard seasons.

Bust: Marques Colston. He has the lowest ceiling of this group by far since New Orleans spreads the ball out so much.

Sleeper: Calvin Johnson. Megatron already posted big numbers in some anemic Detroit offenses. What will he do now that the Lions look like they could field an above-average attack? Scary for sports betting sharps to imagine.

NFL Predictions Top Friday Betting

What a card for sports bettors it is.  The Dolphins-Falcons, Chargers-Saints, Eagles-Chiefs, Redskins-Jets picks info and previews are in the articles section.

Courtesy of OddsShark.com: Today in the Daily Sports Roundup: The Eagles hit the road to play the Chiefs in exhibition action, while the Athletics meet the Rangers, and the Padres host the Phillies.

Colliding on the gridiron . . .

The NFL has four games on tap for Friday, with Atlanta at Miami (pick’em), Washington at the Jets (-4.5), San Diego at New Orleans (-3), and Philadelphia at Kansas City (pick’em). The Chiefs have lost both of their games so far during the preseason, falling 20-10 in Atlanta in Week 1 and 20-15 in Tampa Bay in Week 2. Matt Cassel went 14-of-19 for 125 yards passing against the Bucs, with one TD strike. The Eagles beat Jacksonville 28-27 in their first exhibition game, but fell 22-9 in Cincinnati last time out. Philly QB Kevin Kolb completed 11 of 17 pass attempts for 126 yards in that matchup.

As well, there’s one Canadian Football League game on the schedule for Friday, with Calgary at British Columbia. The Stampeders (6-1 SU, 5-2 ATS) head into this matchup riding a four-game winning streak, while the Lions (1-6 SU, 2-5 ATS) have been tagged with a loss in each of their past six contests. Oddsmakers have Calgary listed as a 6-point road favorite for Friday night’s matchup, with the total for the game set at 52 points.

Top expert picks on today’s card…

It comes from Matt Rivers. It may be the preseason and I do admit that this time of the year can be a joke at times. But there are also games that can be isolated and conquered in a monster way and that is what we have here today.

Three Friday plays and one absolute insane highest rated BOMB, B-O-M-B BOMB! A 500,000* between Atlanta and Miami plus a 200,000* Washington-St. Louis and a 100,000* Tampa Bay and Boston. No holds barred today, none! Matt Rivers historic pick is up now

Meeting up on the diamond . . .

The American League schedule for Friday has Kansas City at Cleveland, Boston at Tampa Bay, Detroit at Toronto, the Yankees at the White Sox, Baltimore at the Angels, Minnesota at Seattle, and Oakland at Texas. Brett Anderson (3-4 SU, 2.86 ERA) will take on Tommy Hunter (10-2, 3.68 ERA) in that last contest. Lefthander Anderson had to settle for a no-decision against the Rays last time out, surrendering just two runs on eight hits over his seven innings of work. Righthander Hunter got back into the win column against the Orioles in his last outing, allowing three runs over his eight innings.

Over in the National League on Friday it’ll be St. Louis at Washington, Houston at the Mets, the Cubs at Cincinnati, Florida at Atlanta, the Dodgers at Colorado, Arizona at San Francisco, and Philadelphia at San Diego. The Phillies will give the ball to Roy Oswalt (9-13, 3.22 ERA) on Friday, while the Padres counter with Mat Latos (13-5, 2.33 ERA). Righthander Oswalt picked up his third straight win last time out, holding the Nationals scoreless on five hits over his seven innings of work. Righthander Latos beat the Cubs in his most recent trip to the hill, surrendering two runs over his seven innings.

Rounding out the Roundup . . .

Finally, there’s one game on the WNBA’s playoff schedule for Friday, with Washington at Atlanta. The Dream won Game 1 of the series 95-90 on the road on Wednesday night as a 5-point underdog. Angel McCoughtry led the way with 28 points for Atlanta in that win, while Coco Miller was good for 21 points. Marissa Coleman scored a team-high 18 points off the bench for Washington, and Crystal Langhorne tossed in 16 points.

NFL Wagering Tips; Eagles Vs. Chiefs

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs Las Vegas betting odds are up for NFL picks and predictions.

The bookmaker’s point spread is Philadelphia -2.5 with a total of 39. The Eagles re 1-1, while Kansas City is 0-2 straight up in preseason play. Each of the Chiefs first two games were on the road.

Matt Cassel and the first team offense will play into the second half for KC and his Sunshine Band. The fact that the Eagles starters will play longer is good news for Eagles bettors as backups Mike Vick and Mike Kafka combined for four interceptions last week.

Philadelphia will get back RB Mike Bell and G Todd Herremans.

NFL power ratings say that this game is a pick ‘em giving the Chiefs a nice edge.

Top expert pick on this game: True Monday was by the slimmest margin, but led by Green Bay, our only NFL play, GodsTips makes it winning days all four this week. Friday get two more NFL Wise Guys. You’ve been waiting. They are so good over the decades because we don’t force them. Get three NFL winners in all.

Four MLB have been added including a Dandy Dog Wise Guy. In fact, tonight is a great night for Dandy Dogs (hint). Dandy Dogs are underdogs of 140 or more (this includes runline plays in which we get back 140 or more). Another great NFL card is up now

Redskins vs. NY Jets Bets and Preview

The Washington Redskins and NY Jets do battle in one of the top NFL match-ups, as far as bettors are concerned, this week.

Oddsmakers have posted an official and NFL Las Vegas point spread at New York -6, though they are -5.5 in many Vegas and offshore sportsbooks and casinos.

Sportsbooks online also have the moneyline posted at the New York Jets -255. Each team is 1-1 straight up in fake games. Rex Grossman, who has a 97.7 passing rating for the preseason is expected to get the start at QB for the Redskins as Donovan McNabb is out with an injury.

Also out for the Native Americans are fullback Mike Sellers (knee), wide receiver Malcolm Kelly (hamstring) and safety Kareem Moore (knee). The preseason series is deadlocked at 4 each straight up.

For first half football wagering, the numbers see NY Jets -3 -120.

NFL power lines say that NY is -3.5 giving a nice edge to the underdogs.

Top expert pick on this game: For those tired of the Dooley’s of the world stealing Dr. Bob Stohl’s tipsheet picks and chasing his steam, go where the pros go.

From the Power of 620 sports services behind every selection, the MasterLockLine is an attorney/law professor/pro bettor turned pro bettor/professional handicapper out of Tri Cities, TN is best known for being the greatest SEC handicapper of all-time. However, he is also the top NFLX totals handicapper, based on all-time units won. Supreme Selections are his highest rated plays. He’s 9-1 in NFLX so far. You know it’s legit because you got EVERY ONE OF THEM. Two NFLX over/under plays, Atlanta/Miami, Washington/Jets.

NFL Betting Intel Falcons-Dolphins

This week’s NFL schedule has a game so strong for sports betting, that a Category 5 sports bulletin has been issued for the Atlanta Falcons at Miami Dolphins.

Miami is 2-0 straight up, while Atlanta is 1-1 straight up in practice play.  Miami has won nine straight NFLX contests. Starting QB Chad Henne has a 110.4 passer rating, putting him among the leaders.

Matt Ryan and the first team offense have yet to score for the Dirty Birds.  Atlanta is 5-4 straight up in the preseason meetings.

The NFL point spread for this game has Miami -1.5 with a total of 38 though the line has gone to -2 in some shops.

Compare this to the NFL power ratings for bettors that has Dolphins -2.5, giving a negligible edge to the Fins.

The total stands at as high as 39, with 38.5 widely available as well.

Also, the first half line is Miami -.5 -105.

For moneyline wagers the Dolphins are -130.

Top expert pick on this game: It’s from Matt Rivers.

Click now to purchase

Where Are Brandon Lang’s Picks?

Where are Brandon Lang’s picks? Just like the top handicapper on Brandon Lang’s syndicated network Matt Rivers moved on to the best sports betting picks site in the world, Brandon Lang picks have jumped ship, though the picks didn’t win enough to be among today’s top sports service picks.

Here is a free winner from the best of them.

Does your bankroll need Tommy John surgery thanks to so-called handicappers with biggest hoaxes than two moons on August 27? Matt Rivers has the hype of Stephen Strasburg and the results of Carin Ashley.

Matt Rivers says your comp winner for Friday is on the Saints in the first half of tonight’s NFL preseason schedule against the San Diego Chargers on CBS NFL football coverage.

Yes this is a first half comp play, not a game but for the first half. Both the Chargers and Saints are upper eschelon teams in the NFL and I expect both first units to come to play in the first 30 minutes with all guns ablazing. Philip Rivers and the Bolts are extremely capable but they did lose LT in the offseason and have had a bunch of holdout issues affecting the team. Ryan Matthews may turn out to be a really good player but the jury is still out on him making the running game still a semi question mark. Now the Chargers go to quite possibly the toughest place to play in the league, in that Superdome and I can’t help but believe that Drew Brees and the reigning champions will be leading at the break.

The Saints are not 100% by any means but they will feed off of that crowd as they did last week in blitzking a prety darn solid Houston Texan squad. Brees by the way was traded away from San Diego a few years back and you know there has to be something there, even if a little, something, as these guys have a ton of pride and Brees has as much as anybody.

When the fourth quarter rolls around weird things can happen in this thing as I don’t trust the New Orleans backups all that much including the fairly weak quarterback trio behind the All-Pro signal caller.

Look for the Who Dat’s to come out emotional and play with some passion in that opening half. The crowd doesn’t care that it’s preseason, it’s their team playing for them as they did last season and Brees, Bush and the fellas will be somewhat of a well oiled machine early on and get us that first half cash.

The pick: New Orleans -2 -115 on the first half line

For more information: It may be the preseason and I do admit that this time of the year can be a joke at times. But there are also games that can be isolated and conquered in a monster way and that is what we have here today.
