The annual NFC vs. AFC battle takes place on Sunday (4:30pm ET) as the National Football League closes the book on its Hawaii era for the Pro Bowl. Starting next year the league’s annual all-star event is slated to take place at the site of the Super Bowl the week before the big game. The NFC won the game at Aloha Stadium 42-30 last year, and they’re 2.5-point faves in Sunday’s matchup according to BetUs Sportsbook.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was named the MVP of last year’s Pro Bowl, and he’ll be back to try and defend that title this time around. Finally, the Sprint Cup Series stages its first event of the season on Saturday night as the drivers hit the track at Daytona International Speedway for the annual Budweiser Shootout. However, Paul Menard is sitting on the pole, while Dale Jr. will start in ninth spot.
