Magic-Celtics Preview

The Orlando Magic and the Boston Celtics will both be trying to pick up a win on Monday when they battle at TD Banknorth Garden.
Oddsmakers currently have the Celtics listed as 8½-point favorites versus the Magic, while the game’s total has not yet been posted.
Dwight Howard poured in a game-high 32 points and hauled down 21 rebounds for a double-double as the Magic defeated the Pacers 110-96 on Saturday. The Magic covered the 8-point spread, while the 206 points made it OVER the posted total of 202.
Rashard Lewis added 24 points, and Hedo Turkoglu had 22 points with five rebounds in the win.
The Celtics got off to an unusually slow start, but turned it up to come back and defeat the Bobcats 89-84 on Saturday. The Celtics failed to cover the 9-point spread, and the 173 points went UNDER the posted total of 180.
Kendrick Perkins had 15 points with 12 rebounds for a double-double to lead the Celtics. Paul Pierce netted a team-high 19 points in the win.
