Titans-Bills quarterback rotations and everything NFL bettors need to know

Are you ready for some football betting? Sunday night on NBC, it’s the Hall of Fame Game between the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills. The betting odds have the Titans as a chalk ranging from 2.5-3 points with varying juice.

There frankly are no major surprises in the Titans quarterback rotation and starters playing time as announced by Jeff Fisher.

According to the Titans head coach: the starters including QB Kerry Collins will play “a few series. Vince Young will come in at QB and play into the third quarter. Another former NFL starter Patrick Ramsey will follow and Alex Mortensen may get a few snaps.

Top draft pick Kenny Britt, a wide receiver out of Rutgers will not play. Also out is Pro Bowl center Kevin Mawae.

Buffalo head coach Dick Jauron said the starters will play “a couple of series” but that he knows the starters and wants to take a look at some backups.

The Bills are 0-2 straight up in Hall of Fame games. Buffalo‘s offensive line is completely rebuilt and their first and second round picks Eric Wood and Andy Levitre will both audition for starting spots. The big uglies will be minus one starter up front though as right tackle Brad Butler is out. Wood and Levitre will still stay in the game after the other starters leave.

Totals players: the Bills are expected to unveil their no-huddle even though they didn’t work on it in training camp.

Top betting pick on this game: GodsTips, anchor of OffshoreInsiders.com is the football betting specialist. They have a Major play on the side and possible late steam on the total at OffshoreInsiders.com. The MasterLockLine will have the top sports service total.

The Titans actually opened up camp a week late as head coach Fisher believes with the extra postseason game, his team will get plenty of playing time later in camp.

Information from the initial primer: This “neutral” Hall of Fame game should have more Bills fans making the journey as former Bills sack master Bruce Smith and Bills founder Ralph Wilson Jr. will be inducted. Adding to that previous report, 70 percent of the induction ceremony tickets were sold to people in the Buffalo area, so a similar partisan crowd can be expected at kickoff.

The weather should not be a factor at all. Kickoff temperature will be in the lower 70s, though some winds are expected between 9 and 14 mph.

Former starting QB Vince Young is now the backup for the Titans but has looked sharp in training camp.

This game marks the debut of the Terrell Owens circus coming to Buffalo. Tennessee probably lost the biggest star of any NFL team in the offseason as Albert Haynesworth is gone. “Intangibles” handicappers will want to note this is the first Titans game since the tragic death of their best every QB Steve McNair and they will wear a No. 9 in honor of him on their helmet.

The media is making a hullabaloo about this being a rematch of the Music City Miracle in which the Titans stunned the Bills in the 1999-2000 playoffs on one of the greatest and most controversial play in NFL history.

ScoresOddsPicks.com Brian Gould has stated that NFL handicappers should disregard any motivational edge that may apply to this game as a result of a playoff game nine years ago.

As we survey every quality sportsbook it appears that for those who want Buffalo, Bet Online has the Bills getting 3 points at –119. Bodog has similar odds.

Want to bet on Tennessee? The Titans are laying just 2.5 but -115 at Sports Betting Sportsbook. However 5 Dimes has the Titans at -2 and -115, so shop around.
