NFL Picks, Predictions, Handicapping Information Against the Vegas Spread

It’s been a sensational year already for football bettors or at least those who get the picks of the nation’s best football handicappers. Now the staff at OffshoreInsiders.com shares news and notes from their clipboard for games of Thursday night NFL betting.

Browns vs. Bears

This game will be used in no small part to see who the Bears No. 3 receiver is. Only two receivers on the Bears roster has more than seven receptions and that includes Devin Hester who struggled greatly to grasp the offense last year.

Defensive backs Zack Bowman and Danieal Manning will both see their first action of the preseason for the Bears. Charles Tillman though is out. Chicago will play their starters, but how long has not been decided.

Eagles vs. Jets

Jets starting QB Mark Sanchez will play one series. Eagles QB Michael Vick will play in the second half and get extended time. Calvin Pace is one Jets regular who will see a good amount of playing time because he is about to serve a four-game drug suspension.

Philadelphia will not use their starters. Kevin Kolb gets the start at QB. In addition to Vick, A.J. Feeley will get time in the second half. Jeremy Maclin and Brandon Gibson start at WR.

Top expert pick on this game: Superstar Stevie Vincent is the founder of revolutionary forensic sports handicapping. He is 14-4 this football season. Thursday his Pro Football Preseason GAME of the HALF CENTURY is on the Eagles/Jets. He has three NFLX, a collegiate football winner highlighting the Thursday card. Packers vs. Titans

Packers starting QB Aaron Rogers will play a series or two. Backup Matt Flynn is nursing a shoulder injury. He will likely only hold kicks.

Thus Brian Brohm will be given ample opportunity to salvage his career tonight as he will get the majority of the playing time.

Colts vs. Bengals

Bengals starting QB Carson Palmer is again doubtful. Indianapolis is again without their best defensive player S Bob Sanders. G Mike Pollack started 13 games last year and all three preseason games, but will not play tonight. Though few starters will play for Indianapolis, they are expected to go through pregame warm-ups.

Cardinals vs. Broncos

Denver‘s top draft pick, RB Knowshown Moreno is expected to be held out.

Redskins vs. Jaguars

The Redskins have a big battle for No. 3 QB with Colt Brennan and Chase Daniel. CB Carlos Rogers, RB Clinton Portis, DT Albert Haynesworth, and QB Jason Campbell are out for the Skins. Jacksonville has four guys fighting for two spots at receiver. Washington‘s first team offense will play one series.

Steelers vs. Panthers

Panthers starters will play “a little bit to start the game,” said head coach John Fox.

Lions vs. Bills

Bill WR Terrell Owens if very doubtful. DE Chris Kelsay is out. The starters are likely to play a little for Buffalo, though coach Dick Jauron said he has not made a final decision.

For the Lions, rookie Matt Stafford starts at QB and get about 25 snaps. Veteran QB Daunte Culpepper is doubtful, which means newly signed Brooks Bollinger could be called upon. No. 3 QB Drew Stanton is out.

Ravens vs. Falcons

Atlanta‘s secondary has struggled. Newly acquired CB Tye Hill will not play.  RB Jerious Norwood and S William Moore are out.

Top expert pick on this game: The top money won handicapper in the 21st century is a handicapper out of Philadelphia who rates his plays 5, 7.5 and 10 stars. He is especially rewarding in professional sports, where his NFL and NBA combined units won is No. 1 all-time. He is a stunning, staggering and overwhelming 9-1 with 10* in the preseason. His second was on Aug. 21 on the Rams/Falcons over. On Aug. 22 he nailed New Orleans. Thursday, Aug. 27 he nails the Jaguars and Friday Aug. 28 it was the Skins. Saturday, it was a season high three 10*s sweeping with the Colts under, Jets, 49ers. Monday Aug. 31 it was the Vikings under. First 10* of NCAAF on Troy/Bowling Green plus two NFL Detroit/Buffalo, Baltimore/Atlanta sides. Chiefs vs. Rams

Starting QB Matt Cassel is out and it looks like he’s out of the season opener. Neither Brodie Croyle nor Tyler Thigpen has distinguished himself. They are a combined 1-18 straight up as regular season starters. Croyle gets the starts here.
