Free Pick: Take LSU -3 Says Betting Expert Matt Rivers

Sensational handicapper Matt Rivers has a free Saturday winner, plus only his second 300K star premium play.

First the free winner is to take LSU +3.5 at BetUs Sportsbook against Georgia.

Last week after seeing how LSU struggled once again I said to myself man this team is not very good and they are going to get beat in between the hedges next week in Athens against the Georgia Bulldawgs. It seemed like a great spot for the suddenly surging Dawgs to rise up and give LSU that much anticipated loss. After all everybody has recognized that Les Miles’ club is not that good and being fourth in the country is just silly, if not entirely wrong.

Then I started to realize as this line started to shoot up that we are looking at a perfect spot for the Tigers to rise up and prove they are really really good with a really really athletic playmaker of a quarterback in Jordan Jefferson and a smash mouth running game led by Charles Scott.

Granted the Bayou Bengals lost five games a season ago and have not played a realy quality game in a few years (save the Chick Fil-A Bowl where they destroyed Georgia Tech). What happened on that night in January? The world said how bad LSU was and how great Tech was and bam! It’s almost like clockwork at times, the public deems a team as overrated, like LSU here, and they come out with a vengeance and take care of business.

This number basically opened up at 2 ½ or so for Georgia and has risen to 4. More times than not you know what that means and have to trust the oddsmaker over the square public.

Georgia is pretty good as they scored a ton of points in beating South Carolina and Arkansas as Joe Cox proed he can be really solid on this level and AJ Green is an absolute wide receiver monster who may be the best there is in the entire nation. The Dawgs are also at home which is huge but this game just flat out smells. Everything seems to be lining up perfectly for Mark Richt’s squad and I mean everything. But when this happens and the number then flies over that all important field goal mark you just have to take a step back and smell the Azaleas.

I am not a big believer in the “trap game” as some people seem to believe but I am a firm believer in going against the public in situations such as this one. Georgia was fairly lucky to beat Arizona State last week and may not get the breaks this week as Joe Q. Public probably goes down in flames.

The pick: LSU +3.
