NFL Injuries and Weather For Week 4 Spread Picks and Fantasy Football

Here are key NFL injuries and NFL weather conditions for both the fantasy football player and for week 4 NFL betting picks

Chargers vs. Steelers

It’s the Sunday night football game on NBC. One team is likely to have their star RB, the other not. San Diego’s LaDainian Tomlinson is probable after missing the last two games with an ankle injury. LB Shawne Merriman is questionable-to-probable. Pittsburgh’s Willie Parker is doubtful. Rashard Mendenhall will start for the Super Bowl Champions, but be aware that he has struggled learning the playbook.

Cowboys vs. Broncos

This game is one of three Wise Guys from Grandmaster sports handicapper Joe Duffy. Dallas will have RB Marion Barber but will not have fellow RB Felix Jones. OT Flozell Adams and LB DeMarcus Ware will play for the Pokes.

Bills vs. Dolphins

Buffalo is minus four starters on defense including Leodis McKelvin, a loss that hurts them on special teams as well points out handicapper Matt Rivers. They are without both starting safeties Bryan Scott and Donte Whitner. Two reserves on defense are also out so the Bills are very thin on the defensive end.

On offense, they are without starting T Demetrius Bell. The Bills also are very thin depth wise among the big uglies.

Buccaneers vs. Redskins

Aging Washington RB Clinton Portis is a game time decision.

Lions vs. Bears

But no tigers, oh my. Detroit RB Kevin Smith, who got 101 yards rushing last week on only 16 carries, is a game time decision.

Ravens vs. Patriots

Again New England WR Wes Welker won’t have his status determined until close to game time.

Raiders vs. Texans

There is a 74 percent chance of rain at kickoff but winds only 7 mph.

Bengals vs. Browns

There is a 42 percent chance of rain at kickoff and winds 14 mph to west to southwest.

In Detroit the pitching matchup will be Justin Verlander (18-9, 3.45 ERA) vs. John Danks (13-10, 3.69 ERA).
