Florida Atlantic-Nebraska, Virginia Tech-Alabama, Central Michigan-Arizona Picks Information

It’s sports betting information to help wise bettors win more college football picks than any time in history with betting notes compiled by the staff of OffshoreInsiders.com

Virginia Tech vs. Alabama

Handicapping notes: This game is on a neutral field. Alabama is looking for déjà vu from last year. They opened up against a highly touted ACC team in Clemson and dominated them in every facet. Star running back Darren Evans is out for the year for VA Tech.

It will be an emotional game for the Tide as they will be without DE Brandon Deaderick who was shot in a robbery attempt. He started all 14 games as a junior making 36 tackles and four sacks, which was second on the team.

The flu bug has been going through the Tide as several key players have missed practice time. Bama may play as many as four tailbacks against the Hokies.

Against the spread records: Virginia Tech is 10-3 as an underdog, but 2-8 outside the conference.

Top expert pick on this game: From the MasterLockLine: Bill Tanner is the No. 1 college and NBA handicapper combined since 1995. He’s from the basketball crazed state of Indiana and his Platinum Plays in hoops hit around 62 percent.  He also hits above 60 percent in college football with “Plats”.   About a dozen years ago, he lapped dinosaur “Doc” as the top Big 10 handicapper in the land. Central Michigan vs. Arizona

Handicapping notes: It’s the first time CMU has traveled to the west coast. The Chippewas are led by QB Dan LeFevour, one of the best QBs in MAC history. His biggest target is WR Bryan Anderson who has more yards and catches than any other receiver in the nation.

Arizona has not announced who starts at QB for them in the race between sophomores Matt Scott and Nick Foles, who have a combined 12 completions. Whoever starts has the difficult task of replacing Willie Tuitama, the top passer in Arizona history.

Arizona‘s top offensive player Rob Gronkowski is doubtful. He is a leading candidate for the John Mackey Award.

Against so-called mid-major conferences, Arizona is just 4-5 straight up under head coach Mike Stoops.

Against the spread records: The Chippewas are 30-13 their last 43. The Wildcats are 8-1 their last nine home games. Arizona is also 11-29 when laying the lumber and 7-22 as a home chalk.

Top expert pick on this game: Superstar, the legendary Stevie Vincent is now on a 27-6 tear. Saturday has five NCAAF winners and three pro baseball burials. Included are three Level 5s in collegiate football and two in pro baseball. Click now to purchase Stevie’s picks for $40.

Florida Atlantic vs. Nebraska

Nebraska is breaking in a new starting QB and two new WRs.  RB Quentin Castille was expected to become an even bigger part of the offense this year, but was kicked off the team. Roy Helu Jr. and converted WR Marcus Mendoza are the only RBs who have carried the ball in college. Helu rushed for 803 yards last year. Nebraska enters with high hopes this year after closing out last year with a four game winning streak including a victory in the Gator Bowl.

FAU features NFL prospect Rusty Smith at QB.

Against the spread records: The FAU Owls are 6-13 as road underdogs and 4-12 as double digit dogs. They’ve also failed five straight to the Big 12. The Cornhuskers are 3-8 their last 11 as home favorites.

Top expert pick on this game: Yet another NFL preseason windfall is in the books, including going 9-2 in the week three, the one that simulates the regular season—and it sure did for us. We are 2-0 in college football with Bowling Green and Boise State. We have 11 sides up for Saturday now. Click now to purchase
