\nbecame the first true freshman quarterback in 59 years to start an SEC opener,
\nplaying for Tennessee<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> in 2004. But
\nhe eventually lost the starting job, missed four games after injuring his
\ncollarbone and ran into off-field problems. When he was suspended in April 2005
\nfollowing an arrest for misdemeanor assault\u2014he later pled guilty to a lesser
\ncharge\u2014Schaeffer left Tennessee<\/st1:place><\/st1:State>
\nand transferred to College of the Sequoias, a junior college in Visalia<\/st1:City>,

\nWilliams, the All-America running back who accounted for 37 percent of the
\nTigers\u2019 total yards and 51 percent of their touchdowns. Like Ole Miss, Memphis<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nwill have a transfer quarterback making his first start. While West hails the
\ncoming of Mills and Brown, Orgeron<\/span> will need his
\npatchwork defensive line to hold its own. If that happens, Patrick Willis and
\nthe linebackers should be able to make plays. An experienced secondary should
\nbe an Ole Miss advantage as well.<\/p>\n

TCU<\/span>-Baylor<\/h2>\n

San Antonio<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> Express-News<\/o:p><\/h3>\n

Offseason focus has been on the Bears\u2019 new spread offense,
\nbut this will be a test of their defense \u2014 which has been historically shaky. TCU<\/span> returns 10 offensive starters, including bruising backs
\nRobert Merrill and Aaron Brown.<\/p>\n

Waco<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> Tribune<\/h3>\n

Baylor\u2019s season-ticket sales are up by 10 percent and a
