He has been phenomenal a lot more than not of late and is clearly better than Andrew Miller but Miller is a hard throwing southpaw who has always had some stuff and a high ceiling. I don\u2019t have a problem with a southpaw going up against Charlie Manual\u2019s Phils as that can neutralize Howard, Utley and Ibanez a bit. I\u2019m certainly not prophesing that it will but it is an advantage to have a lefty in this spot.<\/p>\n

The Phils are right there at the top of the division with the Braves now a half game back\u00a0and certainly have won a lot of games over the past 6-8 weeks. They are playing better ball than in the middle three months of the season but these fish have played spoiler over the past few seasons and have the talent once again to repeat that feat. Hanley Ramirez is as good as they come and others like Uggla, Stanton and Morrison are\u00a0extremely talented and super formidable.<\/p>\n

If this game is played 1,000 times the Phils would win more than 500. But I don\u2019t think they win it at the rate the oddsmaker seems to believe and that\u2019s creating a bargain here and a semi must play on this potentially barking pup.<\/p>\n

The pick: Florida Marlins +200.<\/a><\/p>\n
