The Detroit Pistons are certainly far from being anything better than a mediocre squad right now. Plus both Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince are expected to miss once again but with that said the Hornets just played last night at home against Dwight Howard and the Magic and now are in some more trouble on this back-to-back with travel.
 
Larry Brown’s boys do have some talent with Gerald Wallace, Boris Diaw, Ray Felton and a few others but they are still not a good team and certainly not a group which should go on the road in a situation like this and be all that successful in.
 
This Pistons’ franchise is in a bit of a decline as the glory years are well behind them but they have already beaten both Philadelphia and Orlando at home and with Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva in the fold this season along with the improving Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum I will take my chances on them here at the Palace. It’s tough to ever win on the road and especially in this situation for the visitors.
 
The Pistons have had the last two days off after disposing of the 76ers at home and should be as fresh as a daisy. I can see Gordon filling it up and the boys from Motown taking care of business somewhere in the neighborhood of eight points. <\/p>\n
