Here is this week’s tip sheet for beating the college football odds<\/a> in the week ending Oct. 31. The report is compiled by the nation’s top football handicappers<\/a> at the OffshoreInsiders.com Network<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Michigan<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>State<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> vs. <\/span><\/b>Minnesota<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Minnesota<\/span><\/font><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> will be again without Eric Decker and he could be done for the year. This is a devastating blow. The Gophers are 1-3 straight up after a 3-1 start. The recent struggles include scoring seven points in the last two games. Decker missed most of those two contests. Five of QB Adam Weber’s TD passes have been to Decker. <\/p>\n

Central Michigan<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place> vs. <\/span><\/b>Boston<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>College<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Boston College QB Justin Tuggle<\/span>, who started the first three games and second leading rusher Josh Haden are leaving the program. Both are unhappy with diminishing roles, but their loss hurts BC’s depth. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Indiana<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> vs. <\/span><\/b>Iowa<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Hawkeyes RB depth has taken another hit. No. 1 RB Jewel Hampton went down before the season started. Now redshirt frosh Adam Robinson, their leading rusher, will miss this week’s game thanks to an ankle injury. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

USC vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Oregon<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> <\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Sal McCormick of MasterLockLine.com reports that <\/span><\/font>Southern Cal<\/st1:place> will run the ball at probably their highest rate this weekend. Allen Bradford has emerged with Joe Mcknight<\/span> as a top 1-2 punch. In addition Oregon<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> has struggled against the run, while the Trojans front five is getting better each game. <\/p>\n

Trojans TE Anthony McCoy, the team’s second leading receiver is probable after leaving last week’s game with a sprained ankle. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

South Carolina<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> vs. <\/span><\/b>Tennessee<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Gamecocks are getting healthy. WR Moe Brown, who leads the team in catches, is probable. He had not been cleared since getting a concussion two weeks ago. TE Weslye<\/span> Saunders was limited last week with a sprained ankle, but is getting close to 100 percent. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Mississippi<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>State<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> vs. <\/span><\/b>Kentucky<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Wildcats starting LB Micah Johnson is doubtful. His 258 pound frame will be missed going against Bulldogs RB 235 pound Anthony Dixon. Ronnie Snead has played well in Johnson’s absence but is 28 pounds lighter. Starting CB Trevard<\/span> Lindley is likely to miss his fourth straight game. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Missouri<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> vs. <\/span><\/b>Colorado<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Mizzou<\/span><\/font><\/span> QB Blaine Gabbert<\/span> says he expects to play despite being hurt in last week’s loss to Texas<\/st1:place><\/st1:State>. <\/p>\n

Nebraska<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> vs. Baylor<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In order to revive their passing game, <\/span><\/font>Nebraska<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> is expected to give more playing time to three freshman WRs<\/span> and a Juco<\/span> transfer. QB Zac<\/span> Lee’s job appears safe for now. <\/p>\n

SMU<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/span> vs. <\/span><\/b>Tulsa<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Mustangs starting QB Bo Levi Mitchell is questionable. If he does not play, true freshman Kyle Padron<\/span> will likely get the start in the high powered offense. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

UCLA vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Oregon<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>State<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

For those who believe two QBs<\/span> equals<\/span> no QBs<\/span>, note a quarterback controversy is simmering at UCLA. Kevin Prince remains the starter, but true freshman Richard Brehaut<\/span> will play. Head coach Rick Neuheisel<\/span> and offensive coordinator Norm Chow are not on the same page on who should start. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
