Here is the betting football tips sheet for games of Saturday, September 19. These are compiled by the Joe Duffy of GodsTips, anchor of OffshoreInsiders.com<\/a><\/span><\/font><\/b> <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

USC vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Washington<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

It is looking more and more like <\/span><\/font>Southern Cal<\/st1:place> will start Aaron Corp at QB. It would be his first career start. True freshmen Matt Barkley, who started the first two games, has not thrown all week and is now considered doubtful. <\/p>\n

Corp is a better runner and has a strong arm. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Northwestern vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Syracuse<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Non-bettors may call them “moral victories” but professional bettors look for teams that “play well” in losses (or poorly in wins). <\/span><\/font>Syracuse<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> is 0-2 straight up, but has been competitive in both games. Their defense is very good. <\/p>\n

The weakness is the defense keeps getting put back on the field, as the <\/span><\/font>Orange<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> is averaging just 2.5 yards per carry. <\/p>\n

East Carolina<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place> vs. <\/span><\/b>North Carolina<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Pirates leading rusher Dominique Lindsay is doubtful. He has scored two of Bonesville’s<\/span> three rushing touchdowns. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Middle<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>Tennessee<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>State<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> vs. <\/span><\/b>Maryland<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Maryland<\/span><\/font><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> lost their best cornerback Nolan Carroll for the year. Worst of all, the injury comes at the worst possible time when the Terps face a spread offense, the type they’ve often struggled against. MTSU<\/span> won 24-14 when the teams met last year. <\/p>\n

Also likely out for the Terrapins is S Jamari<\/span> McCollough<\/span> and OT Bruce Campbell. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Duke vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Kansas<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Two QBs<\/span> are no QBs<\/span>? If one believes that, note that Duke will use both Sean Renfree<\/span> and Thaddeus Lewis behind center. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Tulsa<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:City> vs. <\/span><\/b>Oklahoma<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Redshirt freshman Landry Jones against starts at QB for the Sooners, replacing Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Nebraska<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> vs. Virginia Tech<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Hokies Lane Stadium is universally accepted as one of the toughest, if not the single most difficult trips for a road team. Nebraska QB Zac<\/span> Lee will be making his first career road start against a V Tech team that has a 31-game straight up home winning streak against nonconference<\/span> opponents. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Rice vs. <\/span><\/font><\/b>Oklahoma<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/span><\/b>State<\/span><\/b><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Cowboys must rebound from their devastating loss to <\/span><\/font>Houston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>. They will likely not have the services of RB Kendall Hunger, who leads the Big 12 in rushing. Rice rotated three QBs<\/span> last week and is expected to do more of the same here.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Texas<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> Tech vs. <\/span><\/b>Texas<\/span><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The revenge angle applies here as the Red Raiders knocked <\/span><\/font>Texas<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> out of the National Championship race with the stunning 39-33 victory last year. <\/p>\n
