The NFL Network has an early start as the Colts take on the Lions in <\/span><\/font>Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>. The biggest story in this contest is that the single greatest NFL handicapper off all-time GodsTips has the NFL Preseason Game of the Year on this game. <\/p>\n

NFL professional bettors<\/a> will note that the Lions will be without starting QBs<\/span> Phillip Buchanon<\/span>, Anthony Henry, and as mentioned, Northcutt.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Starting LG<\/span> Ryan Lilja<\/span> is out for <\/span><\/font>Indianapolis<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>. Colts QB Jim Sorgi<\/span> is doubtful, but has not been ruled out. Curtis Painter is the only other quarterback on the roster. Peyton Manning is expected to play until early in the third quarter. <\/p>\n

Five front line players are among 11 Indy guys who are out. In addition to the above, their best defensive player Bob Sanders remains out. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
