If the Giants can win tonight, the lead will be back to where it started on Friday.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Surprisingly, the <\/span><\/font><st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place> and Giants have both caught up to Los Angeles Dodgers, who at one point had an insurmountable lead. The <st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place> are just 3.5 games back while the Giants are 6.5.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<h1><st1:City><st1:place><b><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:   12.0pt'>San Francisco<\/span><\/font><\/b><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><font size=3><span style='font-size:12.0pt'> Giants @ Colorado <\/span><\/font><st1:place><font  size=3><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Rockies<\/span><\/font><\/st1:place><font size=3><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/h1>\n<h2><b><i><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Barry <span class=SpellE>Zito<\/span> <span class=SpellE>vs<\/span> Jason Marquis<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Some people might not believe that Jason Marquis not only has 14 wins on the season but is tied for the National League <span class=SpellE>league<\/span> in that category. While Marquis will attempt to become the NL&#8217;s first 15-game winner, he&#8217;s had two very different results against the Giants this season.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseballsportsbetting.org\" title=\"Baseball sports betting\">Baseball sports betting<\/a> handicappers should note that in his first start, he earned a complete game victory back on May 2<sup>nd<\/sup> but on May 7<sup>th<\/sup>, he gave up seven runs in just six innings of work. Marquis has actually pitched better on the road this year than at home and the main reason has been his WHIP. At home, it&#8217;s at 1.42 but on the <span class=GramE>road, that<\/span> number drops to 1.17.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Marquis will take on <span class=SpellE>Zito<\/span>, who may be one of the most overpaid players in sports but at least he&#8217;s been pitching somewhat to standard recently. The Giants have won five of his last seven starts, mostly in part to his solid pitching. <span class=SpellE>Zito<\/span> has given up just 11 earned runs in his last 42 innings pitched (2.36 ERA) while striking out 34 batters and walking just 12. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>In his only start against the <\/span><\/font><st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place> this <span class=GramE>year,<\/span> <span class=SpellE>Zito<\/span> pitched seven shutout innings while allowing just three <span class=SpellE>baserunners<\/span>. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Although the <\/span><\/font><st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place> are at home, the Giants need the win a little more just to keep pace.
