Hamels has been impressive in his first two games since the break, posting a 3.00 ERA in two Philadelphia wins. He held San Diego to three runs and four hits in seven innings of a 9-4 victory Thursday.<\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Haren has surpassed all expectations from the start of the season. He leads the majors in opponents’ batting average and he’s the only Diamondbacks starter with a winning record.<\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Haren is 0-1 with a 5.25 ERA in two career starts against Philadelphia, which he hasn’t faced since 2003. Hamels is 1-0 with a 2.13 ERA in two starts against Arizona.<\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
