Thiago<\/span><\/font><\/span> Alves<\/span> vs<\/span> George St. Pierre
UFC<\/span> 100 odds<\/a>: St. Pierre -320<\/p>\n

George St. Pierre is set to face what might be one of the toughest battles of his career. Thiago<\/span> Alves<\/span>, known as the Pitbull<\/span>, is probably the hardest hitter that GSP<\/span> has faced and it could provide some trouble for him.<\/p>\n

There was some trepidation earlier in the week that Alves<\/span> might not make weight for the fight, which would remove the title off the table but it now looks like Alves<\/span> might be on schedule to make the cut.<\/p>\n

GSP<\/span> isn’t offering great value on this fight mostly because he’s a big public favorite and everyone bets on him regardless, which inflates the betting line. He is one of the most popular fighters in the UFC<\/span> and he’s the first ever to get a sponsorship from Gatorade.<\/p>\n

It’s unlikely that he loses this bout but there is a chance it happens. Most sports picks<\/a> will stick with GSP<\/span>, though.<\/p>\n

Frank Mir vs<\/span> Brock Lesnar<\/span>
UFC<\/span> 100 Fight Card<\/a>: Lesnar<\/span> -220<\/p>\n

Brock Lesnar<\/span> and Frank Mir are going to highlight the UFC<\/span> 100 fight card as the two heavyweights will be the final fight of the night.<\/p>\n

Lesnar<\/span> is hungry to exact some revenge on Mir after Mir handed him his first and only loss in the UFC<\/span> so far.<\/p>\n

When you look back at how quickly Lesnar<\/span> has grown since that fight, it has been fairly impressive. Just a few years ago, Lesnar<\/span> was at the top of the WWE<\/span> \u2013 fake fighting. Even so, that was fairly impressive for a former real wrestling champ (NCAA).<\/p>\n

Now Lesnar<\/span> is the next big thing in the UFC<\/span> and he would be at the top of the food chain with a win over Mir.<\/p>\n

Lesnar<\/span> was dominating the first fight against Mir when Mir caught him making a rookie mistake. Lesnar<\/span> left his leg out while he was on top and Mir grabbed it and submitted him.<\/p>\n

But Lesnar<\/span> has grown since that fight and he’s developed his defense significantly.<\/p>\n

When Lesnar<\/span> fought Mir, he was a raw and inexperienced MMA<\/span> fighter. Even so, he still dominated the fight until he made a mistake. Expect more of the same in this fight but don’t expect any more mistakes from Lesnar<\/span>, who knows what to do to exact his revenge this time.<\/p>\n

The price per head<\/a> for Lesnar<\/span> and GSP<\/span> is expensive since they are the popular fighters but they are worth it as both should win at UFC<\/span> 100.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
