Countering for the Nats<\/span> will be Shairon<\/span> Martis<\/span> (5-1, 5.04 ERA); the righthander<\/span> has allowed just three earned runs over his last 12 innings.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, an all-Texas interleague<\/span> matchup in <\/span><\/font>Arlington<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> has the Astros’ Wandy<\/span> Rodriguez (5-5, 2.82 ERA) taking on the Rangers’ Kevin Millwood (6-4, 2.72 ERA). Lefthander Rodriguez is 0-3 with a no-decision in his last four trips to the mound, but against the Cubs last time out he allowed just one earned run over seven innings. Righthander<\/span> Millwood is coming off consecutive wins over the Red Sox and Blue Jays, surrendering just one unearned run over 14 2-3 innings.<\/p>\n

Cincinnati hosts Atlanta on Tuesday in an NL-only matchup, but the rest of the slate is made up of interleague<\/span> contests: the Mets at Baltimore, Milwaukee at Cleveland, Toronto at Philadelphia, Florida at Boston, Pittsburgh at Minnesota, Arizona at Kansas City, Detroit at St. Louis, Tampa Bay at Colorado, Seattle at San Diego, Oakland at the Dodgers, and the Angels at San Francisco. As well, the Cubs will begin a series at Wrigley Field on Tuesday against the White Sox.<\/p>\n
