After a couple of days off college football goes bowling again on Friday night with Florida Atlantic taking on Central Michigan<\/st1:PLACE> in the Motor City Bowl. The Owls were 6-6 straight-up on the season, and a little better at 7-5 against-the-spread. As well, Florida Atlantic has won four of their last five games heading into this bowl.<\/p>\n

The Chippewas enter this matchup on a two-game losing streak, dropping their last two games to Ball<\/st1:PLACENAME> State<\/st1:PLACETYPE><\/st1:PLACE> and Eastern Michigan<\/st1:PLACE>. Those results put Central Michigan<\/st1:PLACE> at 8-4 SU and 6-5 ATS on the season. Prior to those consecutive losses the Chippewas had been on a pretty big roll, winning six games in a row.<\/p>\n

Oddsmakers like the Chippewas in this contest, as they’re pegged as 7-point favorites with a total of 67 points for the matchup according to BetUs Sportsbook<\/a> . Central Michigan<\/st1:PLACE> went 6-5 on the OVER\/UNDER this year, while Florida Atlantic wound up with a 4-8 OU<\/span> mark.<\/p>\n
