Looking to move past Texas<\/st1:PLACE><\/st1:STATE> in the rankings this weekend will be both No. 2 Alabama and No. 3 Penn State. Other Notable Events<\/strong><\/o:P><\/p>\n

The Rays tied up the World Series at 1-1 with a win over the Phillies at home on Thursday, and they’ll be looking to jump into the series lead with a road victory in Game 3 on Saturday night (8:35pm ET<\/st1:TIME>). Tampa<\/st1:PLACENAME> Bay<\/st1:PLACETYPE><\/st1:PLACE> will send ALCS<\/span> MVP Matt Garza to the mound in Philly in Game 3. Garza held the Red Sox to just two earned runs on eight hits over 13 innings of work last round, and he’ll be looking to dazzle Philly’s batters as well.<\/o:P><\/p>\n

Countering for the Phillies will be veteran lefthander Jamie Moyer, who has finally made it to the big stage at the age of 45.
