All we do is win. Promises made, promises delivered has had winning weeks 5-of-6 in football so far. We finish this week 18-7 as we nail both Monday Night Football sides Vikings-Packers and Broncos-Raiders. The first game is a Wise Guy! We added MLB as well. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Yesterday, we nail Wise Guy plays on blowouts <\/span><\/font><st1:City><st1:place>Pittsburgh<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> and <st1:City><st1:place>Philadelphia<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>. We are 6-2 in the NFL regular season, which is smack-dab that norm. It&#8217;s the last day for our full-season passes. You get all of today&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.godstips.com\/\">Joe Duffy&#8217;s GodsTips <\/a><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>$17 at <font color=blue><span style='color:blue'><a href=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/\"><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><span style='font-weight:bold;mso-bidi-font-weight: normal'>OffshoreInsiders.com<\/span><\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/font><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<h1><b><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>NFL<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/b><\/h1>\n<h2><b><i><font size=3 face=Arial><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Denver-Oakland UNDER 41<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Both teams are depleted at wide receiver. <span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0<\/span>As reported in the Press-Democrat: &#8220;The Raiders&#8217; receiving corps was already thin before Drew Carter tore his left ACL in the third exhibition game. He&#8217;ll miss the entire season. That left the team with Ronald Curry, <span class=SpellE>Javon<\/span> Walker and a collection of young guys with little NFL experience to their credit.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Curry, though he lacks game-breaking speed, has been a valuable part of the Raiders&#8217; offense for several years. <\/span><\/font><st1:City><st1:place>Walker<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>, however, has been plagued by injuries, off-field peculiarities and poor conditioning; few are counting on him having a huge season.&#8221;<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>The newspaper further states, &#8220;The Raiders also have Johnnie Lee Higgins, Todd Watkins and <span class=SpellE>Chaz<\/span> <span class=SpellE>Schilens<\/span> for JaMarcus Russell to throw to. Their combined NFL reception total: six catches, all by Higgins last year. <span class=SpellE>Schilens<\/span> is a rookie, and Watkins is getting his first NFL action after bouncing around a few teams.&#8221; <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Finally, in Phil Barber&#8217;s article he states, &#8220;And the situation is nearly as dire for the Broncos.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>They have one top-flight receiver, big Brandon Marshall, who exploded for 102 catches and 1,325 yards last season. The league, however, suspended <\/span><\/font><st1:City><st1:place>Marshall<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> for violating its code of conduct after he was arrested three times in 2007 and 2008. The suspension was cut from three games to one, but he&#8217;ll still sit this one out.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Jay Cutler&#8217;s other options at wide receiver include a couple of solid possession receivers in Brandon <span class=SpellE>Stokley<\/span> and <span class=SpellE>Keary<\/span> Colbert, veteran Darrell Jackson (let go by the 49ers after he dropped numerous passes in 2007), rookie Eddie Royal and <span class=SpellE>Edell<\/span> Shepherd, who has 13 receptions in four NFL seasons.&#8221;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Conversely, as reported in the Mercury News, the cornerbacks are top notch. &#8220;<\/span><\/font><st1:City><st1:place>Denver<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>&#8216;s Champ Bailey is the best cornerback in the NFL, the Raiders&#8217; DeAngelo Hall says.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>But when it comes to the top cornerback tandem, Hall and <span class=SpellE>Nnamdi<\/span> <span class=SpellE>Asomugha<\/span> get the nod over the Broncos&#8217; Bailey and <span class=SpellE>Dre<\/span>&#8216; <span class=SpellE>Bly<\/span>, as well as the league&#8217;s 30 other pairs, Hall and the Raiders say.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><span class=GramE><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Raiders<\/span><\/font><\/span> defensive coordinator Rob Ryan doesn&#8217;t hesitate when asked if Hall and <span class=SpellE>Asomugha<\/span> merit top billing. But why stop there? Throw in nickel back Stanford <span class=GramE>Routt,<\/span> and the Raiders claim to have the best trio of cornerbacks.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>&#8216;We&#8217;re going to prove it Monday night,&#8217; Ryan said.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><span class=SpellE><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>Bly<\/span><\/font><\/span> begs to differ. He said the longevity and statistics associated with <span class=SpellE>Bly<\/span> and Bailey make any comparison an open-and-shut case.&#8221;<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>As Bob Warner of <a href=\"http:\/\/scoresoddspicks.com\/\"><font color=black><span style='color:black'>ScoresOddsPicks.com<\/span><\/font><\/a> tells us, &#8220;Simply put, it&#8217;s two of the best <span class=SpellE>DBs<\/span> corps are going against two of the weakest <span class=SpellE>WR<\/span> corps.&#8221;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><font size=3 face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>The respective quarterbacks are in the bottom 10 as well.
