{"id":18884,"date":"2022-04-22T09:19:09","date_gmt":"2022-04-22T14:19:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.joeduffy.net\/blog\/?p=18884"},"modified":"2022-04-22T09:19:12","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T14:19:12","slug":"updated-nba-series-odds-conference-and-title-odds-heading-into-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.joeduffy.net\/blog\/2022\/04\/updated-nba-series-odds-conference-and-title-odds-heading-into-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Updated NBA Series Odds, Conference and Title Odds Heading into Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-0 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Heading into the weekend, a couple of the NBA Finals favorites have been hit with key injuries, and the odds reflect the impact that may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phoenix and Milwaukee were favored to win their respective conferences before the playoffs began, while the Suns were the overall favorite for the championship.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, with Devin Booker out 2-3 weeks (and possibly more considering it\u2019s a hamstring injury) and Kris Middleton sidelined for at least the remainder of the Bulls series, the Suns and Bucks have seen their odds worsen immensely.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/record.commissionkings.ag\/_ejy4onLiLhHT2Fu8bIPGIGNd7ZgqdRLk\/1\/\">SportsBetting<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>initially made Milwaukee a -1000 to advance past Round 1 and Phoenix -2500, meaning both had greater than a 90 percent chance to move on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the book\u2019s current odds with each series tied 1-1, and the lingering injuries in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bulls +230<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bucks -275<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(Odds imply a 73.3 percent probability Bucks advance)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pelicans +265<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suns -315<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(Odds imply a 75.9 percent probability Suns advance)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both teams are favored by around 2 points on the road tonight.
