\nJohn Stewart trying to kill two birds with one stone, using unrelated comments

\nSpears (sister of Brittany<\/st1:place><\/st1:State>) to
\nsomehow prove a conservative hypocrisy. <\/p>\n

As the host of the O\u2019Reilly Factor himself says, \u201cEvery
\ntime the far left attacks Palin<\/span><\/span>
\npersonally, it\u2019s another vote for McCain.\u201d Vile smear merchant Bill Maher has
\njoined the choir in unintentionally helping McCain with vicious innuendo about Palin\u2019s<\/span> teenage daughter. <\/p>\n

There is no question Palin<\/span> has
\nbenefited from a sympathy vote by those rallying around the victim of the
\npolitics of personal destruction. <\/p>\n

If Laura Ingraham compared Obama\u2019s (single) mother to
\nBrittany or Jamie Lynn Spears, this would help Obama. If Sean Hannity claimed
\nthat Barack\u2019s blunder with George Stephanopoulos was proof of the Democrat\u2019s
\nradical Islam, this would backfire and hurt McCain. (In an interview, Obama
\nused the term \u201cMy Muslim faith.\u201d) <\/p>\n

Four years ago John Kerry led George Bush in all the
\npolls. Then Bush got his gift horse: Michael Moore\u2019s Fahrenheit 911<\/i> was a mocumentary<\/span> filled
\nwith half-truths, exaggerations and just plain lies about President Bush. This
\npushed the undecided to rally around Bush. <\/p>\n

Ultimately the race will still be decided by who wins the
\nPresidential and Vice-Presidential debates. But unless Palin<\/span>
\nis annihilated by Joe Biden<\/span> or a true \u201cOctober
\nSurprise\u201d is uncovered, the relentless personal attacks on Palin<\/span>
\nand her family will aid the Republican ticket in November. <\/p>\n

Right wingers extremists like Michael Savage, Anne
\nCoulter, and Pat Robertson need to be cautious in their bomb-throwing and not
\nreturn the favor of the far-left.\u00a0 <\/span>So far
\nthey have been typically partisan, but sans the vitriol of Olbermann<\/span>,
\nStewart, and Maher. <\/p>\n

If the medium is truly the message, then McCain should
\nhave one request of the far-left: keep talking. <\/p>\n
