Let\u2019s start out with the computer trends, where all records are<br \/>\nagainst the spread unless of course, over\/under is specified. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<h1><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>CFB<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Temple-Army<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=MsoBodyText>Trends: <st1:City><st1:place>Temple<\/st1:place><\/st1:City><br \/>\nis 6-2 their last eight against Independents. Army is 3-8 on fake surfaces and<br \/>\nthe Black Knights have gone over 8-2 on turf. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText>Notes: Army debuts their new turf and they have not won a<br \/>\nhome opener since 1996. Army must replace four of their top five tacklers from<br \/>\nlast year. This could be a high scoring game as each team does return their<br \/>\nstarting quarterback.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<h2><span class=SpellE><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>SMU<\/span><\/span><span\nstyle='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>-Rice<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=MsoBodyText><span class=SpellE>SMU<\/span> is 4-9 their last 13<br \/>\noverall. Rice has won 11-of-14 conference games and the Owls have exceeded the<br \/>\ntotal at a staggering 40-11 rate.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>\u00a0 <\/span>Rice<br \/>\nis 39-17 in conference play going back even further. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=MsoBodyText>Throw out the <span class=SpellE>SMU<\/span> game films<br \/>\nfrom previous years and June Jones makes his debut as the Mustangs coach. Jones<br \/>\nof course is the man who rebuilt his alma mater <st1:State><st1:place>Hawaii<\/st1:place><\/st1:State>.<br \/>\nWow, Rice\u2019s defense allowed more than 42 points per game. Rice has won nine<br \/>\nstraight at home in the series. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<h1><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>NFL<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h1>\n<h2><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:\"Times New Roman\"'>Chargers-49ers<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=MsoBodyText>The <span class=SpellE>Niners<\/span> starters will only<br \/>\nplay a series.
