There are two playoff games on the schedule for Monday night, and they\u2019re
\nboth going to be played in Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>.

\nplayoff gameday<\/span>:<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Boston<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nCeltics at <\/strong>Detroit<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nPistons, <\/strong>8:30pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><\/o:p><\/p>\n

The Pistons might have all the recent postseason experience, but they now
\nfind themselves down 2-1 to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nopened the series with an 88-79 win at home, but Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nbounced back to knock off the Celtics 103-97 in Game 2 in Boston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>.
\nGame 3 was played back in Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\non Saturday night, with the Celtics looking to pick up their very first road
\nvictory of the playoffs. Boston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nroared out to a 50-32 lead at the break in that contest, and then cruised from
\nthere to the 94-80 win. Kevin Garnett led the way with 22 points and 13
\nrebounds for Boston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> on Saturday,
\nwhile Ray Allen was good for 14 points. Paul Pierce had only 11 points on
\n4-of-6 shooting in the win. Richard Hamilton poured in 26 points in the loss
\nfor Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>, Rodney Stuckey
\ncontributed 17 points off the bench, and Rasheed Wallace picked up 12 points.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Despite Boston<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s success on the
\nroad in Game 3 the oddsmakers still opened the Pistons as 5.5-point home
\nfavorites for Game 4. The contest\u2019s total was opened at 175.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Pittsburgh<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nPenguins at <\/strong>Detroit<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nRed Wings, <\/strong>8:00pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><\/o:p><\/p>\n

The Penguins rolled through the Eastern Conference side of the NHL playoffs,
\nbut it looks like they\u2019ll find the going tougher against the Red Wings in the
\nStanley Cup final. Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> got a
\npair of goals from Mikael<\/span> Samuelsson<\/span>
\non Saturday night as they rolled to a 4-0 win in the opening game of the
\nchampionship series; Samuelsson<\/span> had scored just two
\ngoals over the first three rounds of the playoffs. Dan Cleary and Henrik<\/span> Zetterberg also scored for the Red Wings late in the
\nthird period to secure the victory. Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s
\nstifling defense allowed netminder<\/span> Chris Osgood to
\nhave a relaxing evening – he had to make just 19 saves for the shutout. Pens
\ncounterpart Marc-Andre Fleury<\/span> stopped 32 of 36 shots
\nin the loss. Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> forward Johan Franzen<\/span> sat out Game 1 with his head injury, while veterans
\nChris Chelios<\/span> (Wings) and Gary Roberts (Penguins)
\nwere both scratches.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The oddsmakers like the Red Wings\u2019 chances of taking a 2-0 lead in this
\nseries, as they opened as -170 home favorites for Monday night. The total for
