The <st1:City><st1:place>Derby<\/st1:place><\/st1:City><br \/>\nvictory maintained Big Brown\u2019s perfect record, which now sits at 4-0. Big Brown<br \/>\nwill break&nbsp;from the seventh post at the <span class=SpellE>Preakness<\/span>,<br \/>\nwhich has held five wins in the past 19 years.&nbsp; It will be a shocker if<br \/>\nBig Brown doesn\u2019t make it 5-0 at <span class=SpellE>Pimlico<\/span> on Saturday,<br \/>\nespecially as a huge \u00bd race favorite.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Big Brown won the <st1:City><st1:place>Derby<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> so<br \/>\neasily that only one other horse that raced at Churchill Downs will also be<br \/>\nracing at <span class=SpellE>Pimlico<\/span> on Saturday. That lone horse is <span\nclass=SpellE>Gayego<\/span>, who didn\u2019t even challenge in the <st1:City><st1:place>Derby<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>,<br \/>\nfinishing well back in 17<sup>th<\/sup> place out of 20 horses. This will be the<br \/>\nfirst time since 1980 that only two horses from the <st1:City><st1:place>Derby<\/st1:place><\/st1:City><br \/>\nwill compete in the <span class=SpellE>Preakness<\/span>. The two returnees in<br \/>\n1980 were Codex and <st1:City><st1:place>Derby<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> winner<br \/>\nGenuine Risk, with Codex winning in an upset. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Before <span class=SpellE>Gayego<\/span> became a late <span class=SpellE>Preakness<\/span><br \/>\naddition, the No. 1 challenger to Big Brown appeared to be <span class=SpellE>Behindatthebar<\/span>,<br \/>\nwho was listed at 10\/1. Things quickly changed on Friday after <span\nclass=SpellE>Behindatthebar<\/span> became a late scratch from the race due to a<br \/>\nbruised front left foot. This was the second horse to bow out after <span\nclass=SpellE>Recapturetheglory<\/span> was force to withdraw due to a fever. <o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>With <span class=SpellE>Behindatthebar<\/span> out, the odds quickly rise after<br \/>\nthe top two with a pair of horses &#8211; Kentucky Bear and Yankee Bravo &#8211; both<br \/>\nlisted at 15\/1. Kentucky Bear doesn\u2019t have a Stakes race win under his belt<br \/>\nthis season, which makes him unlikely to win his first at the <span\nclass=SpellE>Preakness<\/span>. Yankee Bravo won the California Derby earlier<br \/>\nthis year, but followed that up with a fourth place in the Santa Anita Derby<br \/>\nand a third place in the Louisiana Derby. Yankee Bravo may not have the speed<br \/>\nto keep up with Big Brown and the rest of the race leaders.<\/p>\n<p>The nation\u2019s top <a href=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/\">sports<br \/>\nhandicapper<\/a> Joe Duffy of GodsTips has the top four finishers in order at <b\nstyle='mso-bidi-font-weight:normal'><span style='color:blue'><a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/\">OffshoreInsiders.com<\/a><\/span><\/b><span\nstyle='mso-spacerun:yes'>  <\/span><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Among the rest of the field, the strongest horse with a chance to upset Big<br \/>\nBrown looks to be Hey <span class=SpellE>Byrn<\/span> at 20\/1. Hey <span\nclass=SpellE>Byrn<\/span> has raced against Big Brown once this season in the<br \/>\nFlorida Derby where he finished in fourth place, while Big Brown went on to the<br \/>\nwinner\u2019s circle.
