Here\u2019s your MLB <span class=SpellE>Gameday<\/span><br \/>\nfor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/\">sports handicappers<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><st1:City><st1:place><strong>Chicago<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><strong><br \/>\nWhite Sox at <\/strong><st1:City><st1:place><strong>Toronto<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><strong><br \/>\nBlue Jays, <\/strong><st1:time Minute=\"7\" Hour=\"13\"><strong>1:07pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><b><br \/>\n<strong>Jose Contreras (2-2, 3.98 ERA) vs. Roy Halladay (2-4, 3.26 ERA)<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Contreras hasn\u2019t been striking out a lot of batters so far this season (just<br \/>\n16 over his first five starts), but he\u2019s been a pretty solid pitcher for the<br \/>\nWhite Sox. The <span class=SpellE>righthander<\/span> gave up four earned runs<br \/>\nin each of his first two outings versus the Tigers, another four earned runs<br \/>\nversus the Yankees on April 22, and he\u2019s held the Orioles to one run twice.<\/p>\n<p>Halladay has been tagged with a loss in each of his past three starts,<br \/>\nalthough he did manage to go the distance in each of those contests. In fact,<br \/>\nthe <span class=SpellE>righthander<\/span> has tossed four straight complete<br \/>\ngames with only a 1-3 record to show for those outings. Halladay has walked<br \/>\njust seven batters while striking out 31 over his six starts so far this<br \/>\nseason.<\/p>\n<p><st1:City><st1:place><strong>San Francisco<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><strong><br \/>\nGiants at <\/strong><st1:City><st1:place><strong>Philadelphia<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><strong><br \/>\nPhillies, <\/strong><st1:time Minute=\"35\" Hour=\"13\"><strong>1:35pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><b><br \/>\n<strong>Tim <span class=SpellE>Lincecum<\/span> (4-1, 1.73 ERA) vs. Cole <span\nclass=SpellE>Hamels<\/span> (3-3, 2.70 ERA)<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span class=SpellE>Lincecum<\/span> is helping Giants fans forget about the<br \/>\nstruggles of Barry <span class=SpellE>Zito<\/span>. The young <span\nclass=SpellE>righthander<\/span> has gone 4-1 with a no-decision in his six<br \/>\nstarts this season, and he\u2019s managed to keep his ERA under 2.00. <span\nclass=SpellE>Lincecum\u2019s<\/span> worst outing of the year came on Tuesday versus<br \/>\nthe <st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place>, but he gave up just three earned runs over<br \/>\nseven innings.<\/p>\n<p><span class=SpellE>Hamels<\/span> bounced back from a couple of rough outings<br \/>\nto pitch a strong game against the Padres last time out (7 1-3 innings, two<br \/>\nearned runs on five hits, six strikeouts). The lefthander gave up just two<br \/>\nearned runs over his first three starts of the year, but he then surrendered<br \/>\nnine earned runs over consecutive losses to the Mets and Brewers.<\/p>\n<p><st1:City><st1:place><strong>Los Angeles<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:City><strong><br \/>\nDodgers at <\/strong><st1:State><st1:place><strong>Colorado<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><st1:place><strong>Rockies<\/strong><\/st1:place><strong>, <\/strong><st1:time\nMinute=\"5\" Hour=\"15\"><strong>3:05pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><b><br \/>\n<strong>Derek Lowe (2-1, 2.88 ERA) vs. Aaron Cook (4-1, 2.41 ERA)<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Lowe gave up six runs in a no-decision versus the Marlins last time out, but<br \/>\nonly three of those runs were earned. That kept the <span class=SpellE>righthander\u2019s<\/span><br \/>\nERA under 3.00 for the season. Lowe has allowed three or fewer earned runs in<br \/>\neach of his six starts so far in 2008, but he\u2019s only managed to pick up two<br \/>\nwins for his troubles, with one defeat and three <span class=SpellE>NDs<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Cook has been on fire for the <st1:place>Rockies<\/st1:place>, as he\u2019s earned<br \/>\nthe victory in each of his last four outings. The <span class=SpellE>righthander<\/span><br \/>\nsurrendered just six earned runs over 28 innings in those starts to drop his<br \/>\nERA below 2.50 in 2008. Cook held the Giants to just two unearned runs on<br \/>\nTuesday, giving up 10 hits and two walks and fanning three over seven innings. <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/\"><span style='color:blue'>H<\/span>andicapper<\/a><br \/>\nStevie Vincent has this game among six pro baseball winners. <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.offshoreinsiders.com\/index.php?Page=Packages\">Click now to<br \/>\npurchase<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><st1:State><st1:place><strong>New York<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><strong><br \/>\nMets at <\/strong><st1:State><st1:place><strong>Arizona<\/strong><\/st1:place><\/st1:State><strong><br \/>\nDiamondbacks, <\/strong><st1:time Minute=\"10\" Hour=\"16\"><strong>4:10pm ET<\/strong><\/st1:time><b><br \/>\n<strong>Johan Santana (3-2, 3.12 ERA) vs. Dan <span class=SpellE>Haren<\/span><br \/>\n(4-1, 3.13 ERA)<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Santana could only manage a no-decision in his start versus the Pirates on<br \/>\nTuesday, but he allowed just two earned runs on two hits over 5 2-3 innings of<br \/>\nwork and struck out seven batters. The lefthander has allowed more than three<br \/>\nearned runs in only one start so far this season (on April 12 versus the<br \/>\nBrewers), and he\u2019s struck out 39 batters.<\/p>\n<p><span class=SpellE>Haren<\/span> has also allowed more than three earned runs<br \/>\nin only one start this year &#8211; that came on April 23 when the Dodgers got to him<br \/>\nfor five earned runs over 4 2-3 innings.
