\nwithout starting small forward Richard Jefferson, whose ankle troubles are
\nbecoming a cause for concern. Jefferson<\/st1:place> will not play
\nagainst the Raptors tonight and could miss Saturday\u2019s home game against Detroit<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>
\nbecause of a sore right ankle. This certainly put a damper on the Nets\u2019
\ntwo-game winning streak. They\u2019re already without Cliff Robinson and also could
\nbe minus backup point guard Marcus Williams, who is questionable with a
\nstrained lower back. Nenad<\/span> Krstic<\/span>
\njammed his left ring finger, but is expected to play. Antoine Wright will start
\nin Jefferson<\/st1:place>\u2019s place and rookie Hassan<\/span>
\nAdams and perhaps Bostjan<\/span> Nachbar<\/span>
\nwill get more time tonight.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Sonics-Cavaliers<\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Sonics are having a rough road trip heading into
\ntonight\u2019s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, primarily because of the
\nabsence of Ray Allen. That might be a temporary condition as the bone bruise in
\nAllen\u2019s right ankle is healing and he could be back for the Dec. 23 game
\nagainst the Toronto Raptors, coach<\/span> Bob Hill said.
\nAllen has missed the past five games with a bruise of the talus bone, the
\nhumped-shaped bone just above the ankle. The Sonics enter tonight 3-2 without
\nAllen, but have lost two consecutive games.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

76ers-Mavericks<\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n

With the imminent departure of Iverson, it\u2019s safe to
\nassume the Sixers\u2019 points per game will be decreasing. They have averaged 85.5
\npoints since he was sent into exile by Billy King and Maurice Cheeks, including
\ntheir three lowest point totals of the season against the Trail Blazers (79),
\nCeltics (81) and Magic (84). 11.9 is the average points by which the Sixers
\nhave been outscored during their nine-game losing streak.<\/o:p><\/p>\n
