Notre Dame is coming off an<br \/>\nimpressive 81-74 win over then-No. 23 <st1:State><st1:place>Maryland<\/st1:place><\/st1:State><br \/>\nin <st1:place><st1:City>Washington<\/st1:City>, <st1:State>D.C.<\/st1:State><\/st1:place>,<br \/>\nand has a chance to make another big statement against the Tide. <st1:State><st1:place>Alabama<\/st1:place><\/st1:State><br \/>\nhas stumbled around a bit in sweeping its last three at home against <span\nclass=SpellE>subpar<\/span> competition.
