NBA Betting

The Philadelphia
weather forecast calls for high winds tonight, though there is a possibility of
rain subsiding tonight. Ironically for Game 5 of the World Series between the
Rays and the Phillies, the cold and wind could be a bigger factor than the
rain. Will the infield fly rule become a factor tonight? Purchase
MLB playoff tickets

While baseball bettors bemoan their bet being washed out
because of the suspended World Series Game 5, we have the objective rundown of
college football and NBA betting picks for Tuesday night.

Let’s start out with the best sports service ever. GodsTips is
led in part by the only full-time NBA handicapper Curt Thomas. His only job is
to pick NBA winners, though he is consulted in other sports. He picks NBA
winners better than anyone ever. He has at least one winner tonight, but here
is the whole story.

A Wise Guy play on the Titans wraps up another winning
week in football for GodsTips. Since preseason, we have had winning weeks 11/13
in the NFL and 10/13 in all football. We have a Tuesday night college football
winner to start out another winning week, plus the Cavs-Celtics side to start
out another winning year in hoops. Steam very possible as well. Click now to

Football guru Mike Godsey, also of GodsTips, says the NFL
power ratings for week 9 show some early signs of yet another spectacular
weekend. No handicapper dominates any sport the way Joe Duffy’s GodsTips does
the NFL.

The power of 620 sports services behind every
selection just keep rolling along with a 107-71 mark in football.

In NBA and college
basketball, Bill Tanner and Castlegate Sports are
beyond debate the top 2 services.  They
rank 1-2 in ROI, total net units won, and winning percentage in the NBA and
overall going back any time period of at least three years.  Only Statmaven Sports has a higher ranking in
college. To say the least, we will ride these services for your benefit again
this basketball season as we have in previous years.

New No. 1 CFB for
2008.
One of the greatest all-around handicappers ever is No. 1
in college football betting for this season. Bill Tanner is the No. 1 college and NBA handicapper
combined since 1995.  About 10 years ago,
he lapped dinosaur “Doc” as the top Big 10 handicapper in the land. Oct. 25 it
was Oregon and Penn
State
sweeping.  Oct. 18 he hits his only Platinum Play of the
week in CFB on SMU, on Oct.
11 he goes 2-1 with Minnesota and
Oklahoma State,
Oct. 4 he sweeps with Wisconsin,
Iowa, and Temple.
On the greatest NCAAF run
of his career, Tanner has another Platinum Play tonight on Houston/Marshall
side

Bo Eason is the No. 2 ranked handicapper all sports
combined since 1990 and No. 1 in MLB.
His 10*s have turned a profit in every sport (college and pro counted
separately) literally every year since 1990. 10* Parlay of the Year wins on Oregon
and Penn State
Saturday Oct. 25. Weeknight Game of the Year  is on Buffalo/Ohio.

Kal Elner, a handicapper out of Reading,
PA
hits a consistent 65 percent when
“waiving his normal star rating system”.
He is also the all-time top NBA totals capper. Waive the rating
Bucks/Celtics over/under.

Mark the Shark, the top handicapper west of the Mississippi
hits 60-65 % of his Game/Total of the Month or higher plays.  He is without question the top Pac 10 and
Mountain West tipster in America.
He’s been offered nearly seven figures per year to join a famed Las
Vegas
sports handicapping marketing giant, but has
spurned offers because they demanded marketing concessions that would
negatively affect his modules. NBA Game of the Week is on the Blazers/Lakers.

Now let’s turn to the groundbreaking tipster Stevie
Vincent. The founder of the revolutionary forensic sports
handicapping
has four angles that are 100 percent with at least six games
involved. The
Great One

Wayne Root Picks

We heard on Philadelphia sports radio 610 WIP today that Wayne Root had a free lock on Penn State-Ohio State. Problem is the game was played two days ago. However, that reminds us that OffshoreInsiders.com  has handicappers that win more with pregame betting picks than most sports handicappers can win if they made the picks after the game ended.

Monday Night Betting

The Tennessee Titans will be looking to keep their perfect record intact on Monday when they play host to the rival Indianapolis Colts and those eating cheesesteaks at Tony Luke’s are planning a Phillies World Series Parade as the Rays take on the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s your Daily Sports Roundup. To laugh all the way to the bank, no need to put in your Tracy Smith CD, just check out all the betting picks for tonight.

The Gridiron Spotlight

The Titans are the last unbeaten team in the NFL, and they’re coming off a 34-10 thrashing of the Chiefs in Week 7. Tennessee has also paid off nicely for bettors so far this season, as they’re now 6-0 against-the-spread. The Colts are three games back of the Titans in the AFC South, as they’re 3-3 (and 2-4 ATS) in 2008. Indianapolis will be looking to forget last week’s losing result – they were pounded 34-14 by the Packers.

The Colts and Titans split their season series last year, with each team winning on the road. Indianapolis started things off with a 22-20 victory in their first meeting; Tennessee then won 16-10 in the second matchup. Both of those contests were UNDER results, and the combined scores of Colts/Titans games have been UNDER plays six straight times. As well, the Titans have picked up the ATS win in each of the last four meetings.

The Titans have been pegged as 4-point home favorites in this contest, while the total for the game is at 40.5 points. The teams are both 3-3 on the O/U through six games.

Other Notable Events

Game 5 of the World Series is set for Monday night in Philadelphia, with first pitch at 8:30pm ET. The Phillies will be looking for another big outing from ace Cole Hamels in this contest. The lefthander is now 4-0 in the postseason, and he picked up a win over the Rays in Game 1 by surrendering just two earned runs over seven innings pitched.

The Rays will counter with Scott Kazmir, who is 1-1 with two no-decisions so far in the playoffs. Kazmir was tagged with the loss in Game 1 against the Phillies, allowing three earned runs on six hits over six innings of work; that bumped his playoff ERA up to 4.15.

The Rest of the Schedule

After taking Sunday off the National Hockey League returns on Monday with six games, including a Big Apple battle between the Rangers and the Islanders. Making up the rest of the schedule: Ottawa at Buffalo, Anaheim at Columbus, Chicago at Minnesota, Boston at Edmonton, and also Detroit at Los Angeles in the lone west-coast matchup.

News from the Wire

Colts WR Roy Hall is listed as DOUBTFUL for the Monday nighter, while RB Joseph Addai is listed as QUESTIONABLE but isn’t expected to see any action. CB Kelvin Hayden, CB Marlin Jackson, S Bob Sanders, and TE Jacob Tamme are also listed as QUESTIONABLE for Indy . . . LB Colin Allred, WR Justin Gage, WR Justin McCareins, and DE Kyle Vanden Bosch are all QUESTIONABLE for the Titans for Monday. DT Tony Brown, CB Nicholas Harper, and CB Reynaldo Hill are all pegged as PROBABLE…New 49ers coach Mike Singletary press conference video is the rage and YouTube as handicappers believe it may be the wakeup call needed.

A Peek at the Future

Tuesday night college football action sees Buffalo at Ohio and Houston at Marshall, while South Florida will play at Cincinnati on Thursday night . . . it’s Cavaliers/Celtics, Bucks/Bulls, and Blazers/Lakers as the NBA tips off their regular season on Tuesday . . . the Sprint Cup Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway for the Dickies 500 this week, while the drivers of Formula One end their season with Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix.
