North Carolina vs. Missouri

The Advocare Vivo Independence Bowl will be played on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 5 PM ET and will feature the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Missouri Tigers. The Tigers are 7-5 and finished 5th in the Big-12 conference while North Carolina ended the regular eason at 7-5 and a 4th place in the ACC Coastal Division.

Moe leads receivers with 649 yards for the season. James Franklin is the quarterback with 13 touchdowns and 2740 yards passing for the season.

The Tigers are 6-6 ATS and 6-6 O/U this year while North Carolina finds them also at 6-6 O/U and ATS for the year. Missouri is just offensively talented for the Tar Heels in this campaign.

Atlanta vs. New Orleans

Monday Night football finds the New Orleans Saints entertaining the Atlanta Falcons on December 26, 2011. The saints are 11-3 on the season and hold an unblemished 6-0 record at home while the Falcons are 4-3 when playing on the road. The Falcons are 9-5 on the season and are in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Atlanta is led by running back Michael Turner with 9 touchdowns and 1129 rushing yards on the season with Roddy White handling the receiving duties by grabbing 1100 yards from the air. Quarterback Matt Ryan loves to throw the ball which is evidenced in his 3698 yards passing this season. Atlanta is 10th best in scoring with 24.4 points per game and gain 255 yards per game passing the football. Defense is better than average as they limit the opposition to 327 total yards per game and are very stubborn by only allowing 96.6 yards rushing to the other team for 4th best in the NFL.

The Saints are a pass first team with quarterback Drew Brees amassing an amazing 4786 yards in the air with the majority of that going to Jimmy Graham with 1171 yards caught. Graham also leads the team with 9 touchdowns for the year and Darren Sproles has run for 496 yards rushing. New Orleans leads the NFL is total yards per game with 456.7 and passing yardage at 331.4 a game. To compliment that the rushing game is 8th best in the league with 109.9 yards a game.

If you love to watch the passing game then this is a must-see game for you. Drew Brees and Matt Ryan will take to the air often in this game. New Orleans is 10-4 ATS and 7-7 O/U while the Falcons are 6-7-1 ATS and 5-9 O/U. The Saints are in and the Falcons ain’t.
